I'm guessing that if we let him in for even one post we would know who it is immediately. If they post about Shaggs then it's Shaggs if they post about Nick then it's Nick. Simple as that. Why would Shaggy go through all this problem and begging to get in here when the Steve I knew would have said FU a long time ago.

My prediction if we let him post: Please give Nick a break, he's a really good guy. Nick, Nick, Nick, Nick.....

The problem that I have with all this is that this isn't just between Nick and Shaggy/Exodus. Elissa is involved in this, I'm involved in this. Exodus is egramming Elissa just like Shaggy was. Nothing has changed with that. If Shaggy and Exodus were different people, then she'd be getting egrams only from identity. Also, look at what has happened. Shaggy/Exodus is alleged to have physically beaten Nick up on different occasions. Even if they didn't occur, they were used to threaten Elissa into doing something. Both her and myself have purportedly been stalked by Shaggy/Exodus. They've said that they've followed us, taken pictures of us, they've threatened to continue doing so. Notes were created and placed on our cars indicating Nick was to be beat up, and making us involved with the possibility of it happening. There were threats to implicate us in the beating of Nick, to possibly frame us for it. There have been lies and fabrications about my cheating on Elissa. Threats made of trying to get me in trouble at my work. False identities made up of cooler crew people which were used to lash out at Elissa.

I can go on. Basically it comes to this. Realistically, the only reason Elissa is still around here is because she wants to gather stuff to use against whoever the hell is doing this all. She's been made to feel like shit, then made to feel worse. It's because of all this. She's really considering not coming back here after all this pans out. Why should she have to feel this way because of what others have done? What Shaggy/Exodus and possibly Nick have done doesn't compare. There have been lies, deceits, manipulations. All these people have done is care about themselves. This group has been about friendship, about relations with others. Shaggy/Exodus is a pisspoor excuse for a Cooler Crew member. It upsets me to no end to see what he does to people like Elissa and myself, and that he wants to get back in with the group. Fuck him. He wants to fix things with Nick, but there's nothing about how he wants to fix things with Elissa and myself. Screw him.

Hey TMK - Is there any proof that this whole deal isn't just one person? Was there a time where you guys knew it was definitely Shaggy? Or could it all just be Nick concocting the whole thing? You keep talking about them separately but I'm not sure if they are. Of course you have more insight into that.

Honestly, I feel that this is all Nick. There's too many similiarities between what is said at times by Shaggy/Exodus and Nick. The motivation or reasoning of Shaggy/Exodus' actions is not consistent over the time span, not even consistent in shorter time periods. There's too much insider knowledge that Shaggy/Exodus has on things for someone who is seemingly so distant from the crew. Too many coincidences, too many unexplained phenomenon for it to be multiple people. There's no solid proof. That's something that either the sysop's here will have to provide, or someone would have to let us see something that proves that Nick is acting as all these people. So nothing concrete, just one of those things that as you go along, you just know.

I say let's call his bluff...whats wrong with a road trip to mankato...

Say you're going to make a geocaching trip out of it. The thing is, you say you're going to go down there, he'll come up with some excuse. He always has an excuse if you're going to meet him. It just continues to fit in with thinking that it's Nick. You could ask him to call you, to discuss it over the phone. Offer to go down there to visit, hang out, and he still would make excuses. He wants to do it on his terms, where he has the upper hand.

Think of things from this way also. Nick has lost control of Elissa, of the relationship that they had. He's been trying to get back the relationship, trying to get control of it. So much has been done Shaggy/Exodus to control her and what she does. There have been threats and manipulations towards her and people she loves, all with the goal of either making her feel like crap or having a relationship with Nick. In personal dealings with Nick regarding things, he's been proven to lie, and there have been things that have happened which don't really add up or have a good explanation. Nick also craves attention, from what I can tell. He's posted about how he was kicked out of his place, how he's been detained by police, how he is looking to see how far he can get on certain amount of money. Yet he's still here posting. He must have a place to stay if he's posting, who knows if he was detained by police, and there's no talk of him leaving when he has money to leave if he wanted. With Shaggy/Exodus, he can get the attention that he wants. He can use the Shaggy/Exodus persona to try and manipulate people into doing what he wants, or making himself look better. Think if it does turn out to be Nick. He'd be using an innocent person to further his own agenda, at the risk of ruining that person's reputation. What does Steve have to gain from this? Steve wants to get back at Nick? Okay, then he should be happy that Nick is no longer with Elissa. Why does he have to involve Elissa with it? Why does he have to involve me with it? Why does he have to be so interested in her life and my life? Why would he try to make me look bad, and make Nick out to be better? There's too many damn questions that can't be answered rationally. This has gone on far too long too. It was mid May when Elissa and I first really got together. Since then, this crap has grown and escalated. How many of the thousand + posts on here have been devoted to this issue? Shaggy/Exodus has used other aliases and identities to try to further their agenda, at the expense of others. They've done enough crap. I just want this stuff to end, and I don't want them around to cause any more problems.

There's been plenty of aliases. Ronjon, arbitruder, =, Beckster, Tony S, medallionhunter44, treasurehunter44.... it's so hard to remember them all. If you guys want to set up a trip down to Mankato for a weekend to meet with Exodus, we can bring all the copies of the egrams that Elissa has saved. She figures, since August 10th (about a week after the HRO was served), there's like 113 of them. This isn't including the tons that we could have saved long before we considered the HRO, or the repeats that she'll get. This stuff has made Elissa feel like shit. Make her feel bad for the stuff that she's accused of doing, like making Nick's life so crappy. For having to put myself through things like this. For having to wonder if friends will be there for her and will be on her side with things. She likes people on here and wants to be friends, but it's not worth it to her if she feels like shit for stuff that other people have done. What has she done to deserve this? Why should she have to pay for other people's actions like this.

And I'm sorry that I get going on these long posts, but there's so much that I feel like I can say about this, that I want to say. I battle trying to keep things logical and sane, yet I know I do have emotion involved in this. I'm going to bed for now. Tomorrow is a new day of hope that this will end, or at least be one day closer to it.

It's up to you guys. You have been around longer then I have. I can say that personaly I have never even met Shaggy.

Exactly. Again, looking at it from the perspective that Steve is actually Exodus trying to clear his name, it doesn't make sense. Thinking of it from the perspective that Nick is Exodus and Shaggy, then it makes much more sense.

Interestingly enough, Elissa got no egrams yesterday afternoon while at the same time, Nick was at the state fair. I am egramming Ian to figure out what was going on at PF in her cooler chick thread.

I saw it....EXODUS posted...I don't recall exactly what he said...

I figured it was exodus.

Exodus was banned at PF, but Ian had his own access list for his stuff, and it never got updated.

just wanna get this group's opinion on something. after pf goes through its final death throes, should i start archiving the contents of our stuff here as well? that way if and when we ever end up changing from this place, its all set. or is it not worth it for a while?

that's two votes for. it shouldn't be that hard to tweak the script i've got to handle the changes for the layout of this site. it's always been a simpole matter of finding what lies in the content area and filtering that.

i just looked at the output i had from the last month or so of running constantly. almost 1500 xml files containing the incremental updates from where i did a full archive of it last. i'm not going to sort through those, so i figure on these last days, i'll run the incrementals (which take about an hour) and fulls (which take about 10) concurrently. all in all there's roughly 400 megs of stuff that i'v pulled.

I'd say do it. This is our new home, and I think it's good to be on top of things.

I would like to point out also that I got an IM from Shaggy/Exodus this morning around the same time Elissa got an egram from him, around 6 this morning. Nothing since then as far as egrams. Coincidentally, Nick is at the state fair with his mom all day. Just an observation.
