I figured there would be other kids at the bus stop for her to sit, talk, play, etc....nope....where is everybody??? I'm confused....lots of little kids in my neighborhood where did they all go???
Last year she went to Private pre-school...this year she's going to public because of the new IB programs....hope I made the right choice......I'm sure I did but I've got a few doubts.....must be that new Kindergarten parent thing of me being nervous.
That's a hard one Kitch. Seeing them go to Kindergarten for the fist time is tough. I'm sure you made a fine choice.
I actually felt sorry for a kid riding past me on his bike after the bus left. I asked why he didn't get on the bus and he said that he goes to Apple Valley and doesn't start until next week. He was bummed because he was all ready wearing his backpack and waiting for his ride because he thought he started today with the IGH kids.

My good friend Shelley, who's son is just a couple months older than Isabella just called me with this urgent prayer request.
Shelley - please pray for my 14 month old son Christopher. He had urinary tract infection, but upon further investigation this morning under ultrasound an abnormal growth was discovered up around the top of his kidney area. We are on our way to Children's Hospital right now to meet with an oncologist and to have a CT scan done this afternoon.
Speaking of prayers... my Dad had a stroke on his way to work at the state fair on Monday. He has been through dozens of tests and it looks like they are very optimistic about a full recovery. Ironically he has the same anomaly in his heart that Don Shelby had. Luckily it looks like his is rather small and at this point they are choosing to watch it rather than do open heart surgery. It has been a scary week... just waiting for all those tests and understanding that 10% of stroke victims have another stroke within 72 hours.
Oh, and here's some info to a free football pickem site that I'm hosting in case you missed it back in pf. Come join TMK, OTiS, Nick, jethro, Kitch and others. You don't need to know anything about football to play. Pick either team A or team B. Pretty easy but still competitive. Hope to see you there. First regular season game is a week from today.
Feel free to join up fellow football fans.

Here we are again people. IT'S FOOTBALL SEASON!!!! The weather doesn't seem to matter during this season. It rocks no matter what it's like outside. Please feel free to invite whomever you would like to this free football pickem site. This is our 7th year going. It's been getting better with each year. The more the merrier. Please don't forget to get at least your 1st weeks picks in before the deadline. You can also fill in as many weeks as you would like ahead of time in case you miss a week you'll still have your picks submitted.
It should be fun. It gives you something to watch when the updates fly by at the bottom of the screen during the games. I can't wait to watch my first game on my new 61" TV. I'm stoked as they say
So who knows how you can link to here from outside for someone who hasn't been here before? I want my bro to see the Discin' thread but he says it says No Access.
Anyone?
I think I got it. I changed the guest users preference. That should work now. I didn't think he had access to the whole site, not just the one thread.
TC, we heard about your dadon the news this afternoon. We will continue to keep him in our prayers. My mother has suffered two strokes (three years apart) and has recovered from both very well.
ESD, I received the e-mail about Christopher and have been praying all day for him.
...so I walked her down to the bus stop....
