I turned down what was a decent offer of $100 for charity and 6 months suspended to talk with the prosecutor who said she couldn't top what the judge already offered. I'm set for a court trial on the 5th. I'm prolly screwing myself but I hate being bullied when I know I'm right.
I was even offended at her comment about where I lived and what I drove made me a 'man of means'. That felt great at first until I thought about it more. I don't have shit and because of my car she thinks I can just toss money around. Wrong babe. See ya in court. I hope I don't get her again even though we started off fine.
I didn't have time to talk with the judge about it but I sure let the prosecutor know where I stand and how I felt. I should have countered with how nice she looked in her satin robe :confused:
cm, they're gonna find you guilty. that's the way the traffic courts work. and since they're gonna separate you from your money, you may as well put that money to work doing something. excrcise your sixth amendment right, and demand a " speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed" :smile:
and I'll replace JT in saying, "take the Michael Moore vs. Dubbya talk to the In The News thread". that being said, Moore is an entertainer not a symbol for liberal politics like Right wingers (not to be confused with wright winger) like to say.
He got upset by his service at Divinci's Pizza and now he has basically screwed the pizzeria for the use of there website...If you type in "divinci's Pizza" he pushed there website down the the 2nd page and all you see is his complaints..

Just an update, for those that are interested, although nobody's said anything - the Art and Aikido event at my dojo saturday night starts at 6, not 7 as originally planned. There's several artists demonstrating really nice stuff there, and we'll be doing Aikido demonstrations as well. All those who attend get tickets for free appetizers (not just one) at the downtowner woodfire grill after 8 PM.
Worse comes to worse, you get to see me thrown about and tossed around...Most of the time, for something like that I'd have to charge admission for people to see me get a 'beatin.

Inks' Mom passed away late this afternoon. She went peacefully in her sleep. Her husband and we all are glad it's over for her.
It appears the funeral will be Saturday and we'll be back on Sunday. It'll be good to get back to some normalcy.
Please keep us in your prayers and thoughts, and rejoice with us that she is finally free.
