IMHO - I think your nemesis is playing this out with no clear idea where to go from here. Enough time has passed that it seems more like a hobby for him VS. anything else. If something more physical or what not was to come from this then I believe it would have already happen.

What ever happened to the days before caller ID where you could call an internal phone company person to track a number just after they called? That's how we did it back in the day. It worked every time.

I would think that your cell company could trace the call. If anything, they should be able to get the number and pass it to law enforcement.

As far as pushing back, the only way we've pushed back is by getting the police involved and going to them.

I was thinking last night, Nick hasn't had a chance to say squat about any of what's been presented here in the host thread.

TMK gets to provide his side of everything, but Nick doesn't get to "face his accuser/s".

I think this conversation needs to stop.

It's basically a private matter that has nothing to do with the Cooler Crew at large.

The only other alternative is to allow Nick in here to defend himself.

Reason this comes up is, I don't think that sounds like Nick, yet he's getting accused in here.

I started talking about this whole thing because of a few reasons. One, Nick was making comments and accusations out in the open that we felt were unfair without getting to defend ourselves and provide our side of the story. We wanted to try and keep this private, and in the moderator thread it's semi-private. Also, it was brought up because the forum was being used, via egram, harass Elissa. I apologize if things have gone too far, and I'll stop talking about things in here, other than to say what comes of the legal aspect of this. Honestly, if Nick were to give his side of the story, I wouldn't believe him in the least. He's been proven to lie, from his mother of all people. If he is proven guilty that he was harassing Elissa via the forum here, and he was using Exodus/Shaggy as aliases for harassing and abusing her, I will be compelled to bring the issue up. If it is proven that he did it, then I feel there should be actions taken.

I will say this. It bothers me because I have received a threatening message from either a cooler crew member, an ex-cooler crew member, or a person associated with them. That's all I'll say for now.

I understand this whole issue is sensitive. I agree that it would be fair if Nick had a way to voice his side too though. Obviously the host thread isn't the place to do that sorta of thing so in that logic it would hold true that hearing one side of the issue from TMK isn't fair either.

I've felt it from the beginning but was outvoted back when you decided to yank a post of Nicks that I felt was OK as far as the CC goes. This is a touchy situation but you're right in that all we should really be interested in as far as moderators go is the direct impact any of it has on this forum. That's it. Anything outside of here is really irrelevant unless it affects inside of here.

That's not to say that there isn't a definite issue at hand but I don't see how any of it affects the structure of this forum unless there are direct threats pointed at individuals.

It sounds like this whole thing will be coming to an end soon anyway but we've thought that before.

Plus I really don't want this thread and us to be used in some court case. I have enough of that myself. :chagrin:

For the record, I didn't personally want to yank said post/posts.

I've made mistakes, but I don't care if they drag my ass into court. I've got nothing to worry about.

Exodus/Shaggy sent much the same egram to Elissa on like Friday or something. Said about how VJ was supposedly with Scott (Steve's brother). Doesn't specify exactly where. What do you guys think of this? I want to send an egram to Exodus/Shaggy about all this crap. Saying that Elissa has given her answer about helping Nick. That there is an HRO out against Nick, and by egramming her or others about having her contact Nick is violating the HRO. That up to this point it's been fairly private, but if he egrams her or anyone else regarding this, we'll post something public about the fact that there is an HRO against Nick, that Shaggy/Exodus continues to harass Elissa, and that if anyone else receives messages about it from him that they should come to the moderators so the messages can be passed along to the proper authorities. I'm sick of this crap. He wants to get other people involved, then let's let everyone know about what's going on.

I've been following this conversation here when I can. Here's my two cents on all this for what it's worth....

I would hate to see any of this end up on the public boards. It's a private matter and should stay that way.

Kids - you have an investigator working on this. This is just additional evidence that you should turn over to that person. The fact that it's other crew members being contacted doesn't change anything from what I can tell.

If this is someone other than Nick, the investigator should find that out and help put an end to this whole thing. If it is indeed Nick, the same holds true.

The fall out from this going to the public boards is more than I would like to even imagine. It might even bring out into the open in a very harmful way the psycho who is causing all that.

I could imagine him getting even with those opposing him in a violent way where anyone could be the target.
