Fright Farm: With Halloween approaching, the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department will begin showcasing its Fright Farm haunted house beginning Friday. The tours run from 7 to 11 p.m. in the historic barn on the Ramsey County Fairgrounds at Frost and White Bear avenues in Maplewood. The haunted house will be open during the next five weekends through Halloween. Admission is $6. Now in its 10th year, the Fright Farm also will feature Tut's Maze for kids. Admission is $1.50. You know what would be kind of fun? With all of the talented people here on this site, it would be great to design a Christmas card with a Winter Carnival Medallion Hunt theme. And the message could say "You know what Christmas means?.....Only one month away from the medallion hunt! Happy hunting....I mean Holidays."

eh... yeah... I got desperate and went to pawn america... and got a cheap ass one....(actually its expensive, if you're me) that doesnt work, and they wont take it back....
Its a garmin - etrex... one of those yellow ones that you probably see all over the place....
checked it out in the store, and it seemed to work fine...turned on and all... but the guy was in a rush, so it was "buy it or put it back... cause I gotta close up!"
So I bought it....
got it home, put new batteries in it....
It turns on, goes to whatever the first screen is... and then just sits there... you can press anything you want, you can smack it.... it doesnt do anything but sit there and look yellow and stupid.....
I took it back the next day, and the same guy tried to say that it worked fine the day before-hand, and I must have done something to it, when I got it home....
so basically ive got a piece of crap, that I payed $150 bux for....
If I would have had more time, I could have checked out the etrex legend they had for 15 bux more.... but that was gone by the time I made it back there, the next day....
It wasnt a total bust though..... cause I picked up two disc golf discs at the same store for super cheap....for practice rounds by myself(one of which has since been lost).....
