The Buccaneers have not yet made an announcement concerning the extent of the injuries. The injuries, however, are expected to keep Griese sidelined for the rest of the season.

FBI to eye findings on 'cruise'
Daily News Wire Services
The FBI said yesterday that it will review the findings of a Hennepin County (Minn.) Sheriff's Department investigation into alleged lewd behavior by several Vikings players and others during a party 2 weeks ago aboard two chartered yachts on Lake Minnetonka, the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported.
FBI Special Agent in Charge Michael Tabman and Sheriff Patrick McGowan met this week to discuss how to proceed should the investigation uncover any possible violation of federal laws, said FBI spokesman Paul McCabe.
The sheriff's report is likely to be completed next week and submitted to the county's Conservation District, which has prosecutorial jurisdiction over county waterways.
Strippers were flown in from Atlanta, Florida and South Carolina to take part in the Oct. 6 cruise, according to two law-enforcement sources. Investigators are exploring the possibility that the women might be part of an escort service catering to professional athletes.
A lawyer for the charter-boat service said crewmembers reported that revelers engaged in sex acts during the cruise.

 - Minnesota Vikings football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a multible players reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Head Coach Tice immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the Viking players was the goal line. Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again.
it's funny because it's true.
is that really you??
Those are my shitty ass Vikings you're talking about :frown:

POLICE REPORT:
Mike Tice's House was Egged
Minneapolis police reported that some individual attempted to "egg"
Mike Tice's house last night.
An empty egg carton was recovered at the scene. Two eggs hit Mr.
Tice's house, 3 eggs went over his house and hit his neighbor's back
door,
2 eggs hit the houses of each of his next door neighbors, and the remaining 3 eggs were found broken on the ground near the carton from where the
individual threw them.
Looking at what was hit, police officials say they are considering
Daunte Culpepper as the primary suspect.
HEHEH (is that a change of pace?)

Did you guys know there's a Friday night game going on? It looks like a few of the procrastinators on the board missed the early deadline. What's up with OTiS anyway? He's missed a few weeks.

"Then there's former first lady Barbara Bush, the president's mommy.
"As a general rule, I don't give her a second thought. I'm sure she's a nice person, in her own way, someone who didn't mean to be hurtful with her comments about the hurricane victims staying in the Astrodome never having had it so good. I don't have anything against her.
"That is, until she violated the cardinal rule about mixing sports with politics by sitting in a seat so close to home plate that you can see her head during every pitch of every at-bat in Houston's new domed stadium, Minute Maid Park."

STILL STANDING
Kicker Paul Edinger (upper left) gave the Vikings a reason to cheer on Sunday.
AP Photo/Tom OlmscheidThe way the past five weeks have gone for the Minnesota Vikings, you expected something -- anything -- to go wrong. A botched snap. A bobble by the holder. Place-kicker Paul Edinger to fall before he could get his right foot into a game-winning 56-yard field goal attempt. Or perhaps the Packers would block it and run it back for a score, ala Philadelphia (see below). Yes, that would have been fitting.
Because by Sunday, many, including yours truly, already had measured the Vikings' season for its coffin. And, for sure, they looked like dead men walking in falling behind 17-0 to the Packers at halftime. Since allegations of sexual misconduct aboard two chartered boats surfaced during their bye week, we've wondered about the Vikings' character, both personal and professional, especially as they showed very little of the latter in suffering consecutive road losses to the Falcons and Bears (outscored 58-13).
But in the second half Sunday, Minnesota came alive. And now, thanks to a 23-20 come-from-behind victory, so, still, is the Vikings' season.
Be honest. Aren't you, in a weird way, just a little happy for the Vikings? Considering all they've been through, it was an incredible win. Granted, the Vikings brought all of this upon themselves. But it's still good to see a team pick itself up off the canvas. The Vikes had only lost two in a row, but the organization needed something positive, team employees needed a reason to look forward to coming to work.
The Vikings had every reason to quit when the fell behind the Packers, who even at 1-4, were seen as the class of this sorry division and were coming off a bye. But Daunte Culpepper (two TDs, no picks) said something as he left the Georgia Dome three weeks ago that showed against Green Bay: He vowed that his team would not quit. And apparently, it drew inspiration from Mike Tice's stern words at intermission.
It was as if Edinger, in connecting on his career-long and team-record kick as time expired, took all of the franchise's frustrations out on the football. He kicked it so far until it carried several rows into the stands.
And the Vikings (2-4, one game out of the division lead), though disgraced, dismissed, and distracted of late, are still standing.
I was happy for the Vikings.
I bet he slept with a trash can in his arms last nite.
Culpepper was seen crying in the locker room after Sunday's game, and when asked about his conversation with Culpepper, Tice looked down and mumbled, "He said, 'I love you,' and I said the same thing to him. I love him, too."
I Love you man!!! oh geez.....
"We have to rally around Brad," Tice said. "Brad doesn't have the same arm Daunte has, [but] Brad has played a lot more games than Daunte has. We can make up for the different styles by going to more short passing to give ourselves a chance to suit his style.
more short passes?? ...I like that.....maybe trying something new will help.... :eyeroll:
Well thanks for nothing!
answered "yes" to all these questions, you could be the next starting running back
for the Green Bay Packers. Operators are standing by, so call now.
