lotta area to search at harriet. I expect in another clue or two they'll post a coordinate or at least a street name. Could walk the whole lake and not find it.

I'm probably doing myself in on this one, but has anyone checked near Mr. Little Guy's House?

Mr Little Guy's house, for those unaware of it. Kinda neat to have a look at anyway. The mouse can't be in it, was just visited yesterday and I think a geocacher might have noticed it if it were there.

I asked Tim if you guys went there. He never heard of the place. Is there a cache there too?

I am minneapolis illiterate. I don't like the place. It's big, it smells, and I would much rather not be there. If it weren't for that damn mouse...

Mr Little Guy is an elf who lives in a tree. He has a wooden front door with a lion head knocker on it. The landscaping around his house changes each year.

I should have guessed it would be virtual. I thought the place was for kids.

This cache is known worldwide and has been featured on WCCO, CNN, Canada Press, CBSnews.com, Associated Press, the CBS Early show, and countless others.

All of life is magical and fairy tales are true. This little tale takes place at this cache. About 9 years ago a elf moved into this spot near Lake Harriet and that little guy still lives there today. However, no one has ever seen him so if you are a really good cache hunter maybe you'll spot him. Your mission is to find his home and leave him a note. If you write him a letter he will write back. Please always use all lower case letters he prefers it that way. Mr. Little Guy's height is not confirmed but the press knows that he is taller than his younger brother and shorter than his older brother. The press is saying he wears comfortable khakis and the color green most of the time. If you want to bring him a snack bring Minnow Pizza he loves that. Stop by and visit his special cache......

Kinda neat though, people leave messages in his house, ask for advice or whatnot, and check back for a response after a couple weeks.

maybe I can ask him if he's seen a mouse.

Furnace guy never did show up so I could have gone out. I have a hunch. And tomorrow my new garage door is being delivered so I'll be stuck at home waiting for the furnace man and the garage door delivery, neither of which will probably show up.

But! I got my Excel energy bill today and it's really, really low!

I'd like to say me, But the way it's going, probably add a 2 on the end and that will be more of a sure bet.

Work sucks... and it's been VERY stressful lately, I can't complain about it though... I think I need a vacation, from a lot of stuff.

You can complain about work all you want.

Work sucks.

If I didn't have to work, I would do way more medallion hunting.

6pm, time to go home... Think I'll try to just wake up early and head over to harriet tomorrow, assuming the clue is released early enough.

What a day..... to come up just seconds after Mucky found the first one....to chasing our tails at Harriet... and then to be out of the car in Maple Grove for less then 5 minutes and poof.

Well if #2 in is minneapolis, perhaps it's around an area dealing with St. Anthony Falls (either the park, parkway north of the city?). Maybe it's a bait and switch.

Would be weird if it eneded up near where the 1st stage of the magellan hunt was.

Hey Coolers, just got back. Went to Lake Harriet first and ran into Me2. Walked around for a couple of hours. Must have been obvious I was searching for something cuz some guy asks me if I lost money or something. I told him I was looking for a computer mouse as part of a contest. He then says he thought he saw something like that on his way over with his dog. He said he didn't pay much attention to it, but it was grey with 2 buttons. !!! So I asked if he would show me where he thought he might have seen it, and we walked aways over by the peace garden. We looked and looked but no mouse. So he asked for my cell # and he would call me if he found on the way back to his house. I told him I would split the prize with him if he helped me. 20 minutes later he called and said he found what he saw and it was a GARAGE DOOR OPENER. :eyeroll:

Oh well, stopped by Staring Lake. No one there, walked around a little, but it was getting dark.

I was there until you couldn't see any longer. Where were you parked? Did ya see my car? I was the only one there.

Does anyone know if there is more than one entrance and/or parking areas to Staring Lake?

Does anyone know where to download a good map of Staring Lake Park? The city's website maps suck.

What's your car? I was driving a white Buick LeSabre. I parked up above the playground equiptment.

I parked by the ball fields across from the airport and by the police dog training facility. I can't believe you couldn't figure out what that building was Kitch. :eyeroll: That's one of the best archery buildings I've seen. I'm thinking that the next clue for that place is going to have something to do with flying or cloud, police dog training, archery or ski x-ing. Maybe even that old house that they're renovating. I checked the crap out of that place though.

I have a black Caddy but I wasn't near the playground as far as I know. Is there a north entrance too?

So I'm tearing that park apart and making good time and mileage with hunting and all I can think about is how cool of a park that would be to hide a cache or two. A few minutes later guess what I stumble across? Without even using a GPS. I like when that happens. It's a nice little surprise while you're hunting. I open the container up and find a TB (which I left for one of you guys) and guess what else?

No, not The mouse
