Fan Runs Out Onto Field, Steals Ball From Brett Favre During Final Drive in Loss to Bengals

The Hall of Fame bound Packer QB was picked off six times on Sunday: five times by the Bengals defense and once by a Bengals fan who somehow got onto the field with 23 seconds left and managed to take the ball from Favre who was leading his team on what could have been a game-tying score. Bengals officials are still trying to figure out how the fan got onto the field, and Packers coaches are trying to figure out why it was so easy for everyone BUT Green Bay receivers to get the ball from Favre Sunday.


Maybe the vikings should recruit this guy.

I pulled permits today from a baseball field that was located at Dale and Aurora back in 1895 --- owner: John Comiskey and his son Charles! way cool - they signed the permit themselves! just fun to find cool little things at work-don't mind me. I had no idea they owned baseball fields right here in St Paul (near University and Dale) AND lived at the Windsor Hotel- how cool is that to live at a hotel? just me -

Bryant McKinnie and Mewelde Moore were seen throwing bags of trash in the dumpster. The eight bags contained what appeared to be remnants of a party, including aluminum tins of food, beer and champagne bottles, fireworks, disposable camera boxes, hallowed out cigars, something that looks like a marijuana bud, sexual and feminine hygiene products and Victoria's Secret underwear.

This is just ridiculous in my opinion. Many of you probably saw the sensationalist advertisements for this story during the Vikes game. The story is that college students drink beer. To me, this is stupid in so many different ways. Number one, it's a non story... everyone knows college kids drink. Number two, you are supposed to be the "hometown news channel" and you go out of your way to find a huge scandal for a beloved local team. Number three, they knowingly used footage of a minor (Phil Kessel) in their report without his consent, which I believe is against the law, they also used screenshots from facebook.com which is clearly a usage violation of their website.

Basically Faux 9 news is a worthless piece of crap news station, and they are going to continue that reputation with their tabloid esque reporting. I'm sending them an email voicing my disgust at this filth.

I whole heartedly agree you. I have been so disgusted with most news programs. It's not about reporting the days activites anymore. It's about "how do we make this bit of information seem as scandalous as possible to get more ratings".

I support you writing them and telling them. I just did that the other day. After hearing several times about the White Bear Lake "420" vandals and how police were concerned cuz of significance of 420 with the Columbine massacre, I went nuts. I first emailed the WBL police. They informed me that during their press conference they gave a list of all the meanings of 420, including the most obvious one. but unfortunately they can't control what the media decides to report. So you have all these parents freaking out in WBL thinking another Columbine is possilble when in fact it's just a bunch of potheads being stupid.

What happened is that channel 9 knew they were getting scooped by channel 5 on trashgate and wanted to tie into it by getting a "minnesota sports team" in trouble. There's no way it was intentionally malicious. Plus given the age of Passolt he went to st. Cloud before they had a good hockey program anyway.

Certainly before they became Division I.
