aawww cheer up Nick, Sometimes you need the bad times in order to appreciate and savor the good. I don't want to get all pollyanna on your ass or anything. You know what helps me when I'm feeling pathetic about life? I watch those shows on TLC that documents people with horrible rare medical defects. I know it sounds macabe but after I watch someone who has had to live with their skin falling off and wear bandages their whole life and then die at the age of 36, all while keeping a sense of humor and positive outlook - well I think--- What am I complaining about? I got it good. Sometimes finding gtatitude wherever you can will overpower sadness, frustration, and negativity. Just my 2 cents.
celebrating halloween for 26 years straight until last year when my best friends parents funeral was on halloween and now not really being able to feel the spirit.
on a good note...i talked to my best friend this weekend and she is doing well and going to a halloween party because that's what her parents would have wanted her to do!!!
Have a HUGE basket of really good candy - the house lite only in candles (oooo erie) and only have 1 kid ONE KID who wasn't even dressed up as a trick or treater.
Only getting 1 trick or treater - but knowing that there must have been fun somewhere in the neighbor cause the heliocopter is flying overhead with his search light on looking for naughty people.
I know the feeling, I went to my brother-in-law's funeral two halloweens ago. Gave me the serious creeps when they had the procession out to the cemetary.
It's a mediterrean dish of bulgar wheat, mint, parsley, lemon juice, lemon zest, onion, olive oil, tomato and cucumber with some mediterrean spices. It's way healthy for you, but it also tastes really really good.
"Uh huh, that's great. Tell me, have you taken Jesus Christ into your life as your lord and savior and have you been saved?"
8 times out of 10 - click.
St. Louis to LaCrosse to St. Paul - NOT a 1 day drive.

So sorry bear... that is always so hard :frown:

He does it to girls / guys whomever.
So now the battle begins.
They will know more by Friday and then we will know the course of action.

I won't even tell you the disappointment with my Kevin Mitchell and Dante Bichette.
sucks, big time, otis.
sucks...just when it looks like things are going good again.
They got into an accident that was just bad enough to make her get an Xray. She wasn't hurt beyond bruises. But that Xray is what found the spots.
So she would have had no chance at all had that not happened.
I look at it like we already scored a point for the home team.
cooked mice....
on the flip side - having my office mate pick up my favorite tomatoe basil soup on her way in at 11:30 for lunch.

My wife likes it, I obviously don't.
I like Humus though!

Not when you add chocolate chips, butter and syrup to it.
