My mother used to disapprove when I said one of my kids was cute or pretty or something in front of them. She said it would make him/her conceited! I ignored that advice, but maybe it explains some of my insecurities?
Don't get me wrong... I KNOW kids can be pains in the ass... I COMPLETELY understand that, but this woman... OMG every time I think about it it just pisses me off even more... she was cracked out... too busy hitting on guys around her to get a ciggarette or God only knows what ever else. When a parent says " You ain't gettin no water you ugly dumb ass" I'm sorry... but that's going over board REGUARDLESS of how annoying her kid/kids were being.
Yikes! That's the first time you quoted her directly. Yeah, that would piss me off too. Kinda like that videotaped lady smacking around her kid in the back seat of her car in the parking lot. She tried to justify it but there was nothing that could have lead to that kind of abuse. If your kid gets you that mad - it's time for you to have a time out and not the kid.
That's exactly it too. I tell ya what.. I'd have liked to slap that lady around the same way she was slapping her kid around, so she could see how it felt. I can only imagine what the child was going through. See.. both of my parents were drug addicts. They did everything under the sun. I pretty much raised myself from the age of 10, so I KNOW exactly what kids go thru who have abusive parents.
The good thing about it is that it's made me the person that I am today. My parents have been clean for almost 4 years now, which is really awesome. They both quit, cold turkey, no treatment, no nothing. It's the whole, I can forgive but never forget thing. I think that's why I'm so sensitive when I see parents treat their kids like crap.
I have forgotten to post. I have talked with her at work. When we had those bad storms come through, her home got damaged. There was some damage to the roof, that night she ended up sleeping in her car. The home is fixed though and they're back. Her grandfather also passed away too I believe. She does miss things here, she's been asking me for updates.
Hey all I'm back!!! I really missed u guys! My computer was down for a while, that and I just needed to take some time away for myself, with losing the baby and all. Things are going great now, and on a brighter note, I think I'm preggers again!!! YAY!!! I should know for sure in a few days. *hugs* to you all!!
Awwwww Zeph!!! Thank you so much. Y'all are too good to me, ya know that? I'm really glad that Mark and I have great friends like you, Sue, Jason, ect. It really truely is a blessing!!
April 6th, but something tell's me she'll be here some time towards the end of March. I go in for another check up in 2 wks, then after that, for my 36 wks check up they're going to do the whole ultrasound thing to get a rough estimate of her length and weight  I'm so excited!!!!!
I miss the excitement of being pregnant and seeing the ultrasounds and feeling the girls moving inside me that's almost enough to make me want to have another but then I think of the 3 years of sleepless nights I had and I think better of it
Ugh I'm going thru the "practice" sleeplessness right now LOL. For example, I've been up since like 1 am this morning and cannot get back to sleep for anything! Then when I do fall asleep, it's for about an hour or 2 and that's it. It sucks, but I might as well get used to it now!
I don't miss a thing about being prego or having little ones, I like em' bigger :pbpt: if they came out at about 9 years old I might think about it
LOL yeah it would be nice to skip the whole teething, diaper changing, bottle stage, that's for sure!! It's just nice to get to enjoy all of these feelings though! I had so many problems with my first pregnancy that I couldn't enjoy it! It's hard to believe, that in just 2 months... I'm going to be a mom!!!
I agree they are nice when they get older Lisa is 6 now and it's starting to get really nice because if she is hungry for lunch and I'm busy with something she can make herselfa PB&J or she can get herself up in the mornings (I'm no a morning kinda gal) and have cereal or watch TV for a little bit while I roll out of bed hahaha. I'm looking forward to the days I want to go shopping or out to dinner with out the kids days when I can say I'll see you later and they can stay home by themselves...
But even with my health problems when I was prgenant I loved having a baby growing in me.

that is complete oppinion! I have thought some kids were dog ugly and seen friends think they are the most adorable little things!
I could go into a store and take the same study based on which kid I thought was uglier and someone else would call them cute.
Yikes! That's the first time you quoted her directly. Yeah, that would piss me off too. Kinda like that videotaped lady smacking around her kid in the back seat of her car in the parking lot. hahahahahahahahaha
You guys are on to me.
Fine.
I'll unlock the closet.
Hope everything is ok.
Tell her sorry on her house. That was a nasty storm.
Eric
