I'm the same way Otis. I can speak spanish when it refers to work stuff, or when I'm at the Mexican Grocery store but I understand about 75% of it when people are having a conversation and boy is it EVER handy...
I reclaimed my garage! I had the kids come over this past weekend to clean out their stuff they had been storing in there. They have their own garages! Got a dumpster and just as I thought, most of it was junk anyway.
So now I have an extra room. Bought a little portable heater and have been out there painting my new doors and started on my storm windows. What I really want to do is hook up Grandpa Schmidt's old potbelly stove in there but then I've have to have a supply of fuel for it.
I think it's my favorite place in this old house!
my wonderful boss that is so good to me, and is a pleasure to work with   , makes work so much better knowing your boss is the coolest of the cool!
I can relate from the other side. A couple of years Dad wanted to reclaim his shed and Mom wanted her basement back.
The funny part was me and my sister's fighting over what junk WASN'T ours. "That's not mine". Gee when we were kids all you heard was "mine" :pbpt: :goofy:
Have one for me OT. That is reason for a celebration.
For me it's finally getting my new tint put in. I just picked up the Caddy and it looks awesome! :ooh: I'll be in my garage all night detailing too.
Tim was let go this evening.....his smart ass comments on some posting boards about his superiors was extremly cocky and arrogant. I wonder why you dont just realize if you kiss your bosses ass then all will turn out well!!!
I bought a car once that had tinted windows. One of the daughters boyfriends said I was driving a Snoop Doggie car. Wasn't exactly the look I was going for. :worried:
enjoy - having a friend you think about all the time, call you to chat cause he misses hanging out and playing golf with you as much as you do him, but have been too lazy to call.
Just put some geraniums in it and call it a planter.
first off, we did actually think about dropping it off near the shed. and doing a little rearranging of statues. then we thought that would require too much casing out of their place, and that we'd have to do it at 3am, so as not to be noticed. it would have been more work than it was worth.
it did actually meet its maker in our trash bin tuesday night. i wrapped it up on a big contractor bag and went to town with the sledge hammer.
I always thought that it was because of some special classification. Like it's for charity, or for some cause, and because of it, they can only print a certain amount of copies.
Huh - maybe - never heard that but sounds good. Either way it would be a cool marketing idea but you'd need to have something people want that's different every year. Not too many compilations out there that fit that criteria.
I forgot they went on sale today, so at 7:45 I decided "What the hell" I might as well try for it. Now I wasn't aware that tons of people showed up at 4 or 5am and they handed out tickets to everyone so they could come back later. The best part about it is that they started to hold the line when they got to people without tickets so they could make sure there wasn't anyone in back of the line with tickets. So I was the 6th person in line without a ticket. This woman behind me starts bitching "We've all been waiting in since 8:00!" It was 8:07. So she keeps on bitching about how she's going to be late for work. I then explain nicely to her that they want to make sure they got everyone who got a ticket at 4-5am to be fair to those people. So a few more bitchy mutterings came out of her and then they started handing out to non-ticket people and I got the last one. :ooh: Sometimes justice is so sweet.
They limit it to 2 CD's to prevent people from being greedy and selling them on ebay. It happens anyway, but at least they can only sell 1 or 2. A guy in front ahead in line said he sold his extra one last year on ebay for $57. When we got to the line of no ticket holders I made a comment on what shame it was that people get 2 just to sell the extra one and all I wanted was one. I don't know if what I said made an impact, but all 5 people in front of me only got 1.
enjoy- that little thing on a toaster that makes it so the lever won't stay down unless it's plugged in, so that you don't think you are making toast when you really aren't. that's such a sweet invention.

My coolest find was my dad's old metal Hamm's beer cooler with the red vinyl top. It's in perfect shape! I'm going to use it.
For me it's finally getting my new tint put in. I just picked up the Caddy and it looks awesome! :ooh: I'll be in my garage all night detailing too.
I love you Timmers!!!
Hopefully not enough to where they'll pull you over, thinking that its too dark, and do their little test thing on them....
had that happen a few times in my old car.... not fun at all....
Wow, I don't know where that came from
"hey baby.... you wanna green card?"
I bet THX has room for it next to his shed.
Standing in the line in the freezing cold, shooting the shit with people. Reminded me of something similiar I do in January...

I think it's probably sold out across the board by now.

Charitable Album or something.
That's why they can only make 35,000. Otherwise they'd just make a ton and no one would have to wait in line.

I'm on track 16/17 right now and this CD just rocks. I'm gonna be listening to this one for months.
Seems news worthy to me. That sorta stuff is becoming a national problem :pbpt:
The U of M women's crew team was seen peeing in the river the other day.
The Tennis team jaywalks EVERY DAY on their way to AND from practice.
Several members of the wrestling team have been seen spitting on the street, multiple times, with no regard for the cleanliness of the streets.
everyone at the u does that.

You are SO pissed at Fox 9 right now.
