I'm still confused why your post continued after starting off on such a good note. You went downhill from there.

I won't continue this, cuz you're just nuts.

If you consider looking like a crazy person all over the place because of your anger at a news station for doing their job, just cuz they made some hockey players look bad "winning", then yes, I guess you "won".

All over the place?

Good point, one thread=all over the place.

Again, it's not their job to spy on college kids drinking.

And calling people crazy isn't a good replacement for making a logical argument as to why you are right, Rush.

THX 1138

All over the place?

Your anger and your arguments are all over the place. There's no consistency.

You just have a hard on for hockey players, and you're mad at Fox 9 for making them look bad.

That's ok Timmers. I still love you.

I'll even pay your parking ticket.

tim_the_hunter

Still can't make a logical argument, so you lower yourself one more time... sexual jokes? Now you are down to 7th grade. Congradulations.

Again, I don't even think the hockey players came out of this looking bad at all.

Word on the street is they aren't even going to be suspended one game. Community service for all of them.

Is that why last time I came over you were wearing a hockey jersey and nothing else? You sicko.

OT did you hear that USA Womens hockey team is going to play the Warroad HS boys team in January? It should be interesting.

The thing that stood out to me in that story I couldn't link  was that St. Cloud State suspends a player for a minimum of three games, student must get counseling and loses 10% of their scholarship.

First off, I'm just playing with you, but there's no argument for me to make. I'm not the one all pissy about this. Fox 9 did their job, and you don't like it.

Fox 9 did their job. There, that's my argument.

Again, I don't even think the hockey players came out of this looking bad at all.

In whose eyes?

Word on the street is they aren't even going to be suspended one game. Community service for all of them.

I think I originally said I didn't think anything would happen to them. Seems atheletes can do just about anything they want nowadays.

The Warroad boys don't have a chance! :pbpt:

Have you ever watched the women play? They are as good and fast as the championship men's teams from say the '60's.

My niece got the only goal in MSU's 7-1 loss against #3 Wisconsin last night.

Yeah look that the huge double standard... Regular students can drink underage all they want and if they get caught they get a ticket which costs about $150, while atheletes get stalked by overzealous reporters looking for a sweeps scandal.

If you want to be mad at someone for the athletes getting away with this, be mad at the police. They didn't do their job to "protect" these kids from themselves.

Yeah, the predictions are all over the board. It's really hard to say until you get them on the ice. I think the women will have an edge at goaltending. Speed I think the boys will have them beat on their top 2 lines but the boys are a hs team so they aren't as deep. One advantage the women has is there is no checking, so the boys will have to adjust to that. But the boys are gonna have bigger shots.

Should be interesting, either way. I wish it were in the cities, I would go to that for sure.

was Rat apart of that 'cat fight' in those earlier posts? or did he dissappear when the claws came out?

Why?

My grandpa taught Dave Pederson how to play hockey at the old bluff playgrounds in St Paul. I think that's cool.

He also invented t-ball before it was patented but never was much of a businessman, he just thought it was a good way to teach kids how to hit.

really? I might take those points. indy has been content not blowing people out this year, especially when they dont pose a threat. they turned it on vs new england because they felt they had to...

San Fran getting 13 points against Chicago is a much better bet, imo. San Fran's D is underrated and Thomas Jones isn't playing. The only way Chicago covers is if their D scores a TD, which is possible but not probable.

Ok I need some quick advice for fantasy football. The husband is out golfing... I know WTF? :worried:

My 2 starting RB were LT and A Green. Green is out for good and LT is on bye.

So I was planning on starting Tatum Bell(Den)@ OAK.

My other choices for a second starter are:

Marcel Shipp ARI @ DET

DeShaun Foster CAR @ NYJ

Cedric Benson CHI vs. SF

Now I know most would say Benson since Jones is out (that what I'm thinking), but the last time I started him cuz Jones was supposedly out, I got burned.

won't matter...you don't have LT for the week...

you will take a lose for the week....

not a big deal as you should be about 8-1 or something like that anyways..

Nah, I'm not worried. I'm a shoe-in for the playoffs already.

I ended up starting Benson... :frown: left 2nd qtr with knee injury.

I'm watching last Saturday's SNL and thought it was funny when'Chris Matthews', while interviewing a sweaty guy said that the last time he saw fluids shooting out from a guy like that he was on a boat cruise with the Minnesota Vikings. Even Darrell Hammond caught himself laughing over that one.
