The 5200 prolly operates like the one you have with a few more gadgets. I'm really happy with it.

I've been looking at a new olympus myself. I still like the one I have, but it is getting outdated, and I'd like some of the newer features/technologies the new cameras have.

I highly recommend carsoup.com that's how we bought our newest car. (the white Buick you complimented me on). That site is great cuz you get can minimize your search by make, model, year and even extras. So we went out and bought a Consumer Report's Used Car Guide at a bookstore ($9.99) Made a short list of cars based on their findings. Then searched on Carsoup.com. I highly recommend paying for the vehicle history report service ($24.99 unlimited use for 3 months) Most consumer groups recommend this also. We eliminated 2 cars cuz one had a salvage title and the other had title issues. It also tells you what states it was registered in. (i wouldn't get a car that was registered in Louisiana)

Carsoup also has a feature where you can save cars to your "garage" to look at later. You also can contact seller about any questions. It's VERY detailed desciption. You don't have to go out in the cold and rain or deal with any slimeball sales guys until you are really sure on a car. We ended up buying the first car we actually looked at, because it had everything we wanted and was in our price range and they were looking to get rid of volume cuz they had bought out another dealership and just recieved 300 more cars.

It made our car search much more enjoyable and stress free. It was the first time we bought a car without having a parent with.

When singers seem to only recycle there old crap ---- just saw Cyndi Lauper on Ellen show. She was doing a slow acoustic version of "She Bop" What the hell? Isn't that a song about masturbation? Like we're not sick of her 5 versions of Time after Time and 3 versions of True Colors. Great songs that have been beaten to death. Here's an idea Cyndi.... write some NEW stuff. Oh wait a minute you could do a calypso version Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.

Our one and only dealing with Denny Hecker ended when they called to do a survey about how we "enjoyed" our experience.

That poor person got such an earful.

I know I ended the conversation to the effect that if they had the last car on earth, they could rest assured we would not be buying it from them.

And I told them I would let others know about their less than ethical way of doing business.

Tater - you are correct about She Bob. I agree about them constantly re-doing thier songs. They were great the first time. Don't try to improve on it.

Getting a letter in the mail that says my drivers license is suspended. Then getting a second envelope (same day) that says it's reinstated.

Not having done anything to deserve either of these letters and being quite confused...

Also, I wanted to let you know that Katie had a hard time staying on task today in school. She did not finish any of the assignments given. I redirected her many times and gave her several warnings. I did send her down to talk to Ms. Garling. I thought this might make her stay focused. She did do a much better job the rest of the day.

Sorry to hear that kitch.

My beef today is with Sony. They're tons of reasons why but today's reason is because they decide how long it's supposed to take for me to take a piss and make a sandwich by setting their default pause time on their DVR to 2 minutes. Then it decides to start playing again. Sheesh!

But on the flipside - I can pause a recording session indefinitely. Which is a positive.

A company that treats you like crap, lays you off, then wants you back a week later for 2 weeks to a month.

I hate my job! (or lack of)

Tell them you will do it at consultants fees (i.e. twice your salary)

that's what my boyfriend did with Sprint. and they took him up on it.

I may not have to go back, but it may be tricky. If I pass up a job, I may lose my unemployment benifits with the TAA qulification. Thats whats going to pay for my school. However they have been letting people take a "voluntary layoff" and still honoring the unemployment claim. Gets tricky though, I don't want to give up any rights I may have for recall. I don't trust this company to tell the truth because they have gone back on their word too many times. They already extended this "closing" 3 times and are jerking people around. Did I mention that I hate them?

not to mention all the crap they put us all through last year with the 3 "layoffs" that never happened. Those all went to the last minute too.

that bites 3M. We have a company out here that is like that - I have a bunch of friends that at one time or another have been in that same hot seat it seems in the past year.

I'll think positive thoughts for ya!

yes they were. I had vacation already approved that they cancelled and then said I was done at the end of the week. Then they changed their mind and kept us all on and recalled everyone that was out. I actually ended up with a few days of free vacation time out of that nonsense.

heh..

I got knocked out at 61...sucks my goal was 50...

but I'm still happy as can be that I even when this far...

I did make one goof and didn't have time to do the math to see if I had pot odds or not...

I had a gutshot straight draw after the TURN...

so that means I had 4 outs...9% chance to get my card on the river...

I hate that 20 sec rule on online poker...

just too many things to think about to call a raise.....

pot odds

did the guy bluff

my chip stack

my position in the tourny

his chip stack

others on the table

raise, fold, call??

quick

what to do??

damn fold...
