I certainly agree with this! Thats why I'm letting the government pay for my 2 years of schooling, books, tools, and letting them pay me unemployment $515 a week for 104 weeks.

Just finished phase 2 of my snow shoveling. Some kind soul cleared my walk from the sidewalk to the street after the plow went by a second time! :smile:

the nice soul across the street cleared out our driveway too last night. in turn, when i did my sidewalk i went over and did theirs as well.

We haven't seen a single plow yet. :frown:

I shoveled one strip in front of the two neighbors to my north just in case it was one of them. Wouldn't have been the ones on the south, as they haven't shoveled yet!

tc and i delivered a nice thank you gift to them last night and he came over and finished off the driveway. while he was doing that i was doing his sidewalk.

The garbage men don't get tipped because they have to be reminded to take things

The weekend STrib deliverers are the worst, so they don't get tipped. We had a good daily deliverer, but that person quit, and the new one hasn't proven herself yet. I probably won't tip until next year some time.

I do tip Gregg the mail guy because he always brings packages and boxes to the back and makes sure they don't get wet.

Thanks for the tipping feedback. Does anybody else use Simons? And if so how much do you tip if you do at all?

Oh, and if any of you happen to have larger page views it's because Tim V increased the character limit to 99999 instead of the 50000 max that it was before. Just an FYI if you come across 30 posts per page now.

CM, we use Simon about twice a month, but I've never tipped because we have received messages that we are not supposed to tip. (I actually don't know who does the delivery because it happens when I am not home).

Hey all.. been a few days. I just want 2 update the situation, Sunday Dec 11th was my bday, yup, it's offical... I'm now 3 yrs closer to 30.. bleh, and.. for my bday what did I get? Some cash, some really cool gifts from my mom, and a miscarriage :frown: went to the dr 2 make sure I didn't have 2 have a D&C and all that fun stuff. Otherwise I'm fine. It's disappointing, but I'd rather it happen early on in the pregnancy than later. I guess we'll just keep plugging away at it. I hope everyone's doing well, and if I'm not back before xmas, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
