Funny thing, when I took Redbear around the winery - we walked out in the back part of the property to see the view etc. He stops and looks around (kinda as a bear would do) and says .. wow, I can see why you would find it so hard to leave here - it's beautiful.
I stopped to, and looked around and realized - he was right. It indeed is. Sometimes I take that for granted.

I guess I should be counting my blessings then, instead of complaining! I can have my cell phone, as long as it's on buzz mode, and I can access the internet -- just can't come here :smile:

this snow is stupid
It comes down all hard for like a half hour, and then a bunch of it melts... and then it gets cold, and it freezes and becomes even more stupid...
and then it snows some more and repeats the cycle....
Ive been involved in 3 car accidents today....and I dont even drive a car, presently....
 - was a witness in all 3 cases, and had to give cops my details of what I saw, basically because I was the only one.... blah...
I repeat...
this snow is stupid.

A little overcast and clouds is a good thing here in winter - keeps the temp in the mid-upper 50's day and night and cuts down on the heating.

I've been 1/2 out here 1/2 out there my entire childhood. Last time I was there was 2000 - and been totally homesick ever since.
