I believe the 35th is supposed to be the one on which you recieve the Medallion.

I could be wrong though.

So do you think the Swarm playing at Xcel is the swarm referred to in the clue? Just got home and haven't read the previous posts.
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 2:47 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

I asked about the swarm. Tim said it meant LaCross or LAX=hidden in some kind of luggage.
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 2:49 PM Permalink
OT

Isn't LAX Los Angeles's airport?

Anagram of "hard to park" dark ho trap. :worried:

Never mind. I see what he's talking about.

I just got back from BC. Had to check out something. I'm walking down the path and some woman is coming towards me. I say Hi and she says "So you out enjoying the global warming?"

Huh?? I asked her if she saw that on the internet, and she starts explaining obout some sientist guys blog about global warming. I said "Oh, I thought you were talking about the treasure hunt!" and then explained the 1st clue and how its out early and stuff. Weird.

another thing I thought of on the way back, driving by the rec center at BC, Theres snow enough to suffice to ski on, and ice enough to suffice to skate on there.

I got to thinking - this is the last time we'll see folks without hats, gloves, mittens, jackets, snowsuits, and diggin' stuff for quite awhile.

This is going to be a fun evening!

Read Soucheray's article in tomorrows paper. "It hasn't been this warm in advance of a carnival since the late 1800's, when an ice castle or two melted due to global warming." So for you nits that don't think he writes the clues, THINK AGAIN.

Holiday Inn.....KOP. I think they might be booked... but you should call just in case.
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 3:59 PM Permalink
Terry

Global warming is being talked about everywhere with the weather we've had. It could just be a coincidence.
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 4:00 PM Permalink
KOP

just booked a room at the holiday inn.they still had rooms. lots they said
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 4:11 PM Permalink
mrmnmikey

Some stranger lady at the park was talking about global warming today, and she didn't know nothing about the hunt. Not saying your wrong, just saying it could be coincidence

Could be, but I think the mayor likes toying with us and then flat out denying he has anything to do with it. It's right up his alley.

KOP what do you think of this

toomuch, go to post #2383. That's where the clue was first posted just before noon today.

Terry

Hey OT!

We are back from the 8th annual Pre-Dig Gig. That room they put us in is too small and too loud.

My ears are still foggy.
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 9:12 PM Permalink
OT

Lots of people there, Terry? Kind of hard to visit, huh? Any new people show up?
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 9:21 PM Permalink
toomuch

Geez,

Just got back from a family function and I went to PP I was all exicted that I was breaking the news........little did I know.....Has it been confirmed that another clue is coming out tonight then? Or do we have to wait until tomorrow night

what is the easiest way to set you configurations @ so that the most recent messages appear @ the top of the page,,,,,,I have to scroll all the way down to the bottom
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 9:28 PM Permalink
Terry

OT - Lots of new folks - some of whom it was impossible to meet because it was too crowded and too loud.

toomuch - play with your preferences. I'm not sure if what you want is possible, because I don't have my preferences set like that.
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 9:30 PM Permalink
Terry

And from my friend who works at the PP, there will NOT be another clue tonight.
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 9:31 PM Permalink
toomuch

Terry any suggestions on how I should set up my preferances....Iam still trying to get the hang of this and its awfully confusing. For instance when I post a message I only then can see the last 3 beofe that

The missing posts while you're creating your own post happens most often when lots of people are on the board. It's a system wide issue here.

There is a previous button that you can go back to check on anything missed.

You'll get used to this soon enough. It takes a bit of practice.

And welcome!

Ares taught me a trick. Click on back and then refresh and you'll see all of the posts.

Terry

The only setting I see that might do what you are asking about is under miscellaneous settings.

In a folder, list items by:

try the Date/time created, newest first

Or you might try some of the other options there.

toomuch

Last question......is it possible when clicking on the OUTLINE option to have the see the most recent post(s),,,,,,,,what happens the way i have it configured is it starts @ the first message like 1 out of 2614 I want it to be 2614 out of 2614
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 9:44 PM Permalink
Terry

That works, too, OT.
Sat, 01/21/2006 - 9:44 PM Permalink
Terry

I never view this in outline mode unless I'm looking for something in particular in past clues.

Playing around with those preferences is the best way to see what works and what doesn't. Perhaps later or tomorrow, others will have better information for you.

Wasn't feeling the greatest tonight, sorry I couldn't make it down to McGovern's tonight.
