kay, if the radio tower is only visible at night, then you may not see it, hence SHOULD

Kay: I don't think 1 stretcher could handle him

The London Tower and the Eiffel Tower. The Medallion is REALLY high up. (hehe)

Radio tower is very visible during day. One of them big red an white things. Per FAA regulations, some lights are constant, some blink. So visibile day or night, whether on not blinking. I work one block away, if you are referring to Capitol 2-way tower near Newell. If not, sorry.

Here guys, check this out, I know people have been leaning away from highland but here is my theory with that clue. Highland has the 2 water towers...when you come up the hill on snelling from W. 7th St. the big blue water tower appears in front of you (to the north) but the 2nd tower is hidden behind the blue one until you drive a little farther down snelling...what do you think?

someone said it wasn't, if it is I'm sorry.

Hello! I'm passing through here on the way to other chores that need to get done. But....

I wanted to share with you all our thoughts as we drove through and walked around some of the parks that we favor at this house.

I haven't ruled any of these parks out yet. There are things in each that could make them THE park this year.

Como - The only drawback is that there are other activities going on in the park for the winter carnival. Otherwise the clues fit...but if nothing is said about the zoo, picnic area or other notable things residing in that park I'd eliminate it. No one had dug up the frog pond yet.

North Dale - Definately in the running. There is even a no golf sign on one of the backstops out there.

Marydale - Worth keeping in mind, but more doubtful in my mind.

Newell - My personal favorite at the moment. For just a few seconds, I thought I was meeting Regalman!

Well, it's that time of year again, . . . time for me to be finding my Medallion!!!

Hmmm. North Dale.

Terry: I take it you live in the area? I live a block from marydale and spent most my childhood at northdale...bothe too small for the medallion

NEW obsession that frisbee course has been there for ever, not very new

Darn, my secret spot is out of the bag. So where have you been stallion?

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 9:25 PM Permalink
The Artist For…

Well one other point that pushes highland is the "ace" Right behind the blue water tower is a par three hole on the gold course, hole in one would be the ace...it all fits highland, but it all fits everywhere i suppose.

think you are suppsing right Highlander, must be all that St Agnes teaching, got that mind as sharp as a tack

Stallion! Hello!!!!!! So nice seeing you back this year!!!!

No park is too small. The clues would just be more vague. Recent history - Langford - We were some of the few that ever found that park. One of the easiest digs we've done in 30 years.

What does everyone think about that park off from St clair and Victoria.....cant think of the name of it but you can see some towers from there not sure how pace and ace fit in but just wanted you opinion....I think the park might be Linwood or something....

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 9:34 PM Permalink
George_Y2G_

it is linwood

Icky icky what are those poopy pictures doing on here! That is very nasty and why would anyone wanna look at them!

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 9:37 PM Permalink
Mr. Billybob

Why would it be at linwood? The park is sooooooooo small

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 9:37 PM Permalink
The Artist For…

Linwood...I mentioned it earlier...i guess it's big enough and you can work the clues in kind of...we still need at least 2-3 more clues before you know the park for sure.

Is there a good way to refresh this page without using your browser? I keep wanting to see if there are some new messages, but I don't have anything new to add. Last year there was a button at the bottom that let you do that . . .

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 9:39 PM Permalink
George_Y2G_

The part with the rec center is small, but i think the actual park runs down part of the hill going east on St Clair

Tue, 01/25/2000 - 9:39 PM Permalink

Stallion - The only thing now to use is the blue number next to your name. The updated web crossing doesn't have that button anymore.

Stallion...just click a message # i.e. 1541 It will refresh the page

According to the park's website...Linwood is bigger than Conway. It doesn't look like it but I guess Linwood has an upper and lower level...may be worth a second look.

I hope its not in linwood. Parking is tough, and that hill is so huge! Most of lower part of park is ice rink. Icky hunting. I will rule it out for my own convenience.
