Clue Master. Can you change the spelling of fair in the first line of the clue to fare? Fare is correct, according to PP site. I'm talking about in the Clue 2 thread.

You know it is interesting about that map. Joe Soucheray lives on Upper or Lower (I can not recall) St Dennis. I do realize you have the map location of Pearson's Candy Co.

Did you trip over any ice blocks? :worried:

No ... What's that 3rd cache? I don't thing I notices that one on the site. I thought we got all 3 caches in HP.

Wow. I get up early to do some serious noodling and even 3/4 asleep I get Clue #2 in in less than a minute.

Wish I could say I'm getting better at noodling, but I rrreeeaaaallllyyy don't think that's the case.

This izz good, this easy-for-green Clue. Now I'll be able to concentrate at work today. Only gotta get through today and tomorrow and then 100% Hunting!

My Master, would I be able to use the footed green period as an avatar?

Oh! And Good Marnin', 'Heads!

Green - check your mail -- I just sent you the pic with the feet!

I am SO glad I didn't stay up for THAT! What'd that take to figure out, 10, maybe 15 seconds?

good morn all off to st.cloud with me.

Mom, thank you so much!!! I just love me!

I was kind of half thinking that clue one was referencing "what it's in" since it really didn't give much for *where*. But clue 2 HAS to be what, so back to figuring out where there's snow and ice to suffice!

Allison posted at Mom Press about the Med in The Wrapper then being in something else. He posted that's still possible. Like they've done in years past, you know?

I'm thinking that's more probable than just possible. Those celliphaney wrappers are pretty delicate and I could see the wrapper getting all shredded to death if then not in something else in addition to the Son of Pear wrapper. You with me so far?

So, the ice/snow still could be an additional cover for The Med.

And for some reason... I just don't know (nostalgia? Old age? Whoremoans? Wanting 'the good ol'days?), I think ittiz gonna be Chair-O-Key...

I'm on my way - won't be home til 9:30 or 10:00 tonight. I doubt I'll have the energy to see the clue till tomorrow morning again.....happy hunting!!!

Got up early to do a summary of the clue before I go to school today. Looks like it's a pretty easy summary today. One post! Thanks CM!

I wouldn't worry so much about posting the clue online. Anyone thats online can do it from the website.

I like this clue! I got Highland as my park! It could still be "IN" the snow and ice and Pearson giving away the park.

What number pick were you?

New Daddy

Morning everyone.

I am not big on Highland because the construction at the new shelter(not to far from the pearson plant) is not done.

doesn't rule it out though

I think with this clue pointing to what it is wrapped in makes the first clue less likely to do the same. so I am more convinced that snow and ice relates to a lake or skate rink or other ice at park. and less likely refers to the med being in ice.

So- was this the clue for the Junior hunt?

I was #11, but there was a few numbers not drawn so I was really 8 or 9

mrmnmikey

I want to clarify that I don't think it is in ice as my last post may have implied. The wording is pretty straight forward in #2 to be in a nutgoody wraper.

Go for the nuts!

Now, where is rest? The prize is at rest according to the clue.

I'll be looking at highland after school about 2 or so. BBL

I still believe clue one is telling us it's buried in snow and ice enough to cover it and keep it as safe as possible with warm weather predicted.

It could be in the wrapper and then in the middle of a snow/ice ball in a pile of snow somewhere.

mrmnmikey

very true

'Marnin', Ter.

That's what I think. Those wrappers are delicate. I don't think they'd just toss The Med out in wrapper only - though the idiots *supposedly* ONLY used a donut last two years ago... Yeah. Sure. - and history has proven more than once the double hide is very often used.

I just have this vision of Chair-O-Key I can't get outta my head. The west side o'the park...

Terry

Morning Green.

As we noodle these clues - we haven't been told it's in a St. Paul park yet - so keep an open mind.
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 5:09 AM Permalink
Terry

But a hunt at Cherokee would suit me just fine.
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 5:10 AM Permalink
green

Contrare, Ter. I am of the humble opinion that we have most definitely been informed Ittiz in a park.

The verb/noun thighy. "We found it hard to PARK our..." If you hide something in a park, you could say you're parking it. Like I refrigerate food...

Get my drift?
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 5:12 AM Permalink
Terry

Green - it hasn't said a St. Paul park. Could be a park somewhere in greater Ramsey County.
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 5:14 AM Permalink
green

Maybe I need to add something...

"I refrigerated the steak." A refrigerator is a thing, like 'park' in the clue, and when you put stuff in it, you're refrigerating it.

Am I making sense?

I have a new noodle for clue # 1:

I keep going back to "swarming" Makes you think of bees or the letter B. When I look at County Road B in Roseville the only park adjacent to Cty Rd B is Villa Park. (NW of McCarrons Lake)
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 5:16 AM Permalink
green

Oh, yeah. I'll most definitely give you that. Furshure.

But I do think they've told us a park. And I'm just leaning towards Chair-O-Key.
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 5:17 AM Permalink
green

'Marnin', Tots.

Hhhuuummm... That's some noodling. To me, a stretch. Noodling like I used to do... Well, like I'll prolly end up doing, STILL, AGAIN, as we get harder and harder Clues.

I'm NOT the greatest Noodler in the world. I'm just amazed I'm doing so well on these first two Clues! Must be 'cuz they're easy.

Nah. That was just my first Hunt; very fond mammeries.

I think it was the park verb/noun thighy that got me going.

Double division, to/fro...

(sigh)
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 5:22 AM Permalink
Terry

green - I never said it wasn't in a park. I too, believe parked refers to it being in a park.

I'm just saying it could be in greater Ramsey County and not just within the confines of the city limits.

We have not been given it's a St. Paul park yet.
Mon, 01/23/2006 - 5:26 AM Permalink
New Daddy

I agree Terry no mention of capital city yet, so could be anywhere in county.

Ice could refer to it being buried in the deeper crusty, icy layer of snow. But with today's clue so specific to what it is in I think yesterdays deals more with ice in the park.

Gottcha. Thanks for the clarification. You know how in the dark I am... LOL!

Clue One tells me it was hidden during the day. People tend to not swarm in parks at nite, but for us idiots...

But, then it could just be poetic license.

But the swarming folks tend to make me think o'kids, more than joggers, et al. In warm weather, kids - in my opinion - are more prone to swarm in parks. Though I'll give you swarming by all ages of park users increases in warmer weather.

I just am seeing/feeling/kids.

And if folks really ARE following Soucheray as ittiz written on Mom's boards... Well, there you have your Highland connection! He walks his dog in Highland, and trying to toss The Med would be pretty hard with a bunch o'nuts swarming all over the place.

Gotta go. Damn. Ittiz gonna be a hard two days.

Catch you guys tonite!

Looks like we didn't miss much last night. We went skiing so we were really tired and went to bed early. Is it clue #3 yet?

If you got $10,000 everytime you went for the nuts, the Snowjester would be a millionaire! Badabump! I was surprised that this clue is so blatant as to what the medallion is hidden in. However, I think that it has yet to narrow down the park yet. I think that Highland is what they want us to think, but they have yet to say it is in St. Paul. Just one half wit's .02. Everyone have a good day.

I'm sure there's going to be someone out at the parks with a big box of Nut Goodies to sell to hunters.
