We got knighted by King Boreas. Her friend's parents know the King, so she set it up for us as a surprise. We thought we were going for brunch. Instead we got knighted for our love and our love of hunting for the treasure. It was really cool. We got the medals and a certificate.
My sister calls me and left a message. "I'm thinking today's clue means that it's going to be in a pearson's nut goodie wrapper. What do you think? Am I on the right track?"
She noodled that all by herself and no message boards. Pretty good for a newbie. I hooked another one!!! :goofy:
Like TMK mentioned, I think that was the whole idea behind this last clue. Rope in the newbies. We all know how cooler it is when you nail a clue right on. Especially your first one.
possibly.. after I'm done slogging, I'm off to learn some sql database stuff, integrate it with some PHP scripting.
Why? I only have 300 days to get a working online database of every park in st. paul (and possibly the surrounding areas). The idea, select certain amenities a park has (pools, ball fields, nearby train tracks, etc, heck maybe even street names surrounding a park) and have a list of parks that match those pop up. All this to shave off some search time during the hunt. I figure I need all the time in the parks I can get...
If I can get some help from my roommate, I also hope to have a tool to anaylze clues for any annagrammed words they might contain. Theory is to take all the letters in a clue, break them down and try to match them to a list of known words, say a park list, or park terms (tennis court), or again a list of street names. I probably can't make this particular program available online though....
After a 13-year absence, Saturday Night's Main Event returns to NBC March, 18, as a two-hour primetime special. In the mid-1980s through early 1990s, WWE fans would scour the television listings each month, making sure they didn't
miss the highly anticipated special that replaced network staple Saturday Night Live on occasion. On each episode of Saturday Night's Main Event, WWE fans knew they would be given a pay-per-view feel on free newtwork television.
Don't miss your chance to be a part of history as Saturday Night's Main Event returns. Here's the ticket information:
well.. I guess they would be boots I wouldn't mind getting messed up.. in fact, I'd probably go find some swamp to trudge through a couple times.. .on purpose.
back when Float-Rite park used to have dirt infront of their stage, we used to go to Wal-Mart and get those swamp wading boots, before going to x-fest.... seemingly every year, too...
curious - sup with the medals?
cute cute cute cute cute. :sheepish:

These! (in the pink/black) for a song.
You mean you had to sing, and you got em for free?
or you got them, so you can wear them when you sing?
Dangit...
I'd probably get the pink ones too... who cares about the color, as long as they keep your feet warm and dry?
but then again, this is coming from the guy that almost wore hammer pants to the pre-dig, just to try and make a quick 5 bucks
Coming from me, that's saying something.
back when Float-Rite park used to have dirt infront of their stage, we used to go to Wal-Mart and get those swamp wading boots, before going to x-fest.... seemingly every year, too...
we got rained on a lot out there....
mud fights aplenty.... ah the memories...
WTG!
Bingo rocks...
wait... did I just say that?
