Yeah, this has gone on a bit long Kitch. I hope all is well. Try not to do the paranoid parent thing before knowing anything though. That's a bad funk to get into.
on the bright side, kitch, tc had our oldest into the chiropractor the day before christmas eve. she was fine in the morning but could hardly walk into the chiro's office. she had rebound tenderness a la appendicitis, so they headed over to the er at fairview riverside. the attending doc thought it was the appendix too so they did an iodine c/t scan. turns out she was incredibly dehydrated from having the flu 2 days earlier and her abdomenal lymph nodes were very swollen, and her full bladder compounded the situation. taking care of the last bit took care of the abdomenal pain. lets hope katie's pain is as simple as that!!!
I posted in another thread so not sure if you saw it, but my four year old grandson had his removed a year ago and bounced back remarkably well. Hope for the same for Katie.
Oh! Ter! Cindy says she feels so badly for, since this was gonna be your first year w/o auditors. She just feels so bad. She told me to tell you that, and she wishes us both good luck.
I was pretty busy, yeah. But couldn't concentrate much. The day went fast, actually. I'm just glad we've had the Clues we've had and ittiz still early enuff in the Hunt that I've not really missed anything here or in the parks.
We're having brauts ("brats" is shitty kids) tonite and Mac & Cheese. Think then I'll catch a few hours o'sleep and then get up for the Clue again.
Want to make some/a couple o'lists... Need to do some driving...
She really is. She's the first boss I've ever had that not only fed on my excitement, but noodled Clues with me, and found my inability to contain myself cute and amusing. To quote, "You're just like a little kid, you're so excited."
She has been more than accomodating and supportive. She understands I just can't help my excitement and taking off. And, I was honest with her and told her that I may as well take off because I wouldn't be able to give 100% at work anyway.
Had I known you missed my calls, I'd have hounded you all day! And that wouldn't do. It was kind'a embarrassing yesterday, catching "you with someone". S/he must think we're both Nut Goodies!
Let your boss know now what's happening in a year... You'll have plenty o'vacation next year.
I'm trying to get all the ladies I work with excited about the hunt...and I am really working on hooking the one that is my official supervisor. She was looking at my THG and Jesse's book and wants one of each.
I'm getting worried about this...
But if it is her appendix, getting that taken care of should be fairly simple.

CHEESY HASHBROWN POTATOES
32 OZ bag of shreddes hashbrowns (thaw a little)
16 oz sour cream
1 can of cream of chicken soup
1 medium chopped onion
3 cups of cubed velveeta

Top with 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Mix 1 stick of melted butter and 2 cups of cornflakes, pour over cheese and potatoes

....I would use straight mild chedder instead of velveeta...but I know a 100% way to make this better....
subsitute "top the tator with the sour cream"
and then you'd make it MY way...seriously its the only receipe I have memorized.
1 pack frozer tatertots
1 gigantic can nacho cheese sauce
1 gigantic can jalapenos
cook tots, in last 5 minutes add cheese sauce and jalapeno's (including juice)
top with spicy guac. and eat.
