I am going to hunt for the fun of it... I didn't get out at all...

I wonder if I can find where I buried the guinea pigs??? I am sure the kids would like to see them one more time...

I'll have to call that in to Soucheray's show today. I think it will fit his Today's Ray of Hope category.

OT -- I think of that as a "ray of hope"!! (almost typed "hoe" - what's wrong with me??)

If nothing else it IS a beautiful day to be outside!

Otis, I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. I truly hope things go well for her. My thoughts are with you.

Thank you guys. This has been an ongoing thing so it's not a shock.

The hardest part has been watching my Grandfather sit helpless.

I'm here. Where's Ter?

What about Newell? That's a pretty park and has a fire ring. First Ever Pity Party was held there. No gates like Crosby.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:52 PM Permalink
KT

Newell looks pretty good. Fire ring and stuff.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:52 PM Permalink
green

Yeah. That's what I'm thinking. Better'un no fire at all.

I wonder if Bill's got any wood?

ROFLOLPMP!!! What I said!

It just doesn't seem right going to some completely different park to drown our sorrows...and Mounds is closer
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:54 PM Permalink
KT

Have thet posted the explanations yet?

I really don't want to go to a bar. I do want to see everyone, though. What's a gal to do?
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:54 PM Permalink
green

No, it doesn't, but whatcha gonna do when BC doesn't have a fire ring?

Also, sounded like the trolls at PP were gonna torch the place (have a bonfire) tonite. I'd rather not get mixed in with them... They mite get outta control...

And Newell *was* the first ever Pity Party. Ittiz better'un a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:56 PM Permalink
'mom'

If you figure that out, would you mind letting me know?? I don't know that the girls (especially Hannah the early riser) would last long outdoors either - but at least they'd be able to run around...

I ordered more buttons and have to leave to go pick 'em up. I'll check back later!
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:56 PM Permalink
KT

Closer to what? Does it have a fire ring?
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:56 PM Permalink
wolfpac

I don't want to go either but I'm roped into it. We can sit together and pout!
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:57 PM Permalink
green

Not that I've seen.

Ter doesn't either since the three o'us have a burfday party tomorrow nite in a bar.

I can do either. Sos, I'm gonna leave it up to you gals/guys. Just let me know what I'm doing sos I can dress appropriately.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:57 PM Permalink

Mounds is closer to BC - they practically run together.

Yes, there are 2 fire rings. Across the street from the playground area.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:57 PM Permalink
wolfpac

Don't forget the green shoes
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:58 PM Permalink

Mounds could work, too.

What trolls at PP? What fire? Where? When? Why? How?
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 1:59 PM Permalink
green

,LLOUINT

I mean, MOUNDS IS PART OF THE BC REGIONAL PARK COMPLEX THIGHY!!!!!
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 2:00 PM Permalink
green

Over at PP they're saying they're going to have a bonfire ala Pity Party. Only there's nowhere to have one...

I dowanna be enkneewhere near that.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 2:02 PM Permalink
Terry

Slipping in and out of here as I can...

Mounds sounds good.

Does anyone have firewood? We don't
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 2:03 PM Permalink
green

Then don't. You guys come sit around a fire and roast some nuts...

Or toast marshmellows!
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 2:04 PM Permalink
Terry

Or just get toasted.

That's why I think everybody should drive to my house.

Fire pit, big grill, indoor toilet, warmth, giant sofa, and you can all wear your jammies.

10 televisions, 2 computers, movies for kids, tunes, DDR, video games galore, and crayons.

I'll drink to taht! :goofy:

I'll see if we do/Bill does. If not, there's plenty o'wood to be had in the parks. And I don't mean cutting down either.

And in Almond Joy/Mounds, the SPPD is prolly more amenable to a Pity Party than the Maplewood cops. I mean, lettuce not push our luck... They didn't hassle me digging, but that's differnt than us at a bonfire sans ring swillin' the hootch.

She's really making it sound worthwhile...

It's 2 minutes past the Mall of 'Merica.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 2:09 PM Permalink

Of course I can do a park as well. I have some wood.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 2:11 PM Permalink
Terry

I'm game for either.

MOA isn't that far. We used to drive it at least twice a week and often more.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 2:12 PM Permalink
Terry

There would be something fitting about being in Mounds - which is so darn near to BC.

Indoor toidies sounds wonderful too.
Fri, 01/27/2006 - 2:13 PM Permalink
green

Mounds sounds pretty good... And ittiz kind'a (kind'a? Ittiz!) tradition...

But I don't want to offend or be mean or rude and turn down KT...

But I really think for this occasion it *should* be Mounds...

Udders imput?

I've got some things to get done here before I leave. I'm signing off...again...and hope there's been a decision of some sort by the time I get back home and online.

I'm game for whatever.

Never know... Wolfie mite put his paw down and heard his woman folk over to Almond Joy/Mounds after a bit at the bar... That would sure be nice...

And Ares and Chesty... I bet they'd like to come. Allison mite show up. Never know, Honeybear (formerly known as Red Bear) mite come... And Oldie! She's a fire lover! Bet we could get her to come!
