I heard that show was tons of fun.

One last thing before I go to bed - From Medallion Central - And I thought the real clue explanations were a little off (he got there, but I don't know how):

As a recap to what we did know from just six clues here it is again in a nut shell.

Clue #1:

Verified for us that warm temperatures made it difficult for them to hide the loot, but that there would be just enough snow and ice to hide it sufficiently.

Clue #2:

told us that the treasure would be covered by a PearsonÂ’s Nut Goodie wrapper.

Clue #3:

The most interesting of all the clues, talked about the Vulcans troubles at AlaryÂ’s bar but also told us to look at how the Vulcans are going to overcome their poularity problem by being in charge of the childrenÂ’s Ice fishing contest on White Bear Lake. White Bear Avenue lead us right to Battle Creek Park.

Clue #4:

gave us a sign to look at Battle with the Braveheart reference. It also gave us Glenridge and Hillsdale avenues.

Clue #5:

Left in a lurch, which is an old english word for corpse told us donÂ’t be in Indian Mounds which then became our Western border. Hardly tree phobic told us it wouldnÂ’t be in the Maplewood side of the park and thus gave us our East boundary. 3M became the red letter we wanted to keep in our ken.

Clue #6:

Our final clue basically gave us the North/South boundary by telling us to stay in between Upper Afton Rd and Lower Afton Rd. This one also re-affirmed the Nut Goodie cover.

So there you have it, a wrap for this year. I do want to thank all of you, our readers, for sticking with us another year and for those of you who sent in your comments. We value your thoughts and ideas and appreciate all of your feedback. Until next year, Happy Hunting!

I really like the firepit on the bluff in Mounds Park overlooking the beautiful city.

I really wish a few more of you would have stopped by, only because there is no firepit at Battle Creek.

It's all about the fire, you know.

Can I go to sleep now?

I love you.

Call me.

PS- clean the litter box.

PPS, I don't have a cat.

Good! Karma will be otay! Fake Replacement Fill-In Substitute Sloppy Joe Medallions will be at the 9TH ANNUAL RE-HASH BASH.

BIAB... I gotta go have a whoremoans issue and do some girly crying 'cuz I don't know where nine years have gone and we're still here and do the whole totally amazed thighy

Bock!

Ah... I vote for booger vs. shredded. I'm not a shredded kind'a gal. I like to bite into my meat. But I'll still eat shredded 'cuz ittiz a tradition thighy.

Yes on the fowl dish mentioned. No, not really. One dish is plenty. I'm just a pig and want ALL the good stuff!

I'm thinking I should bring either fish for it's mental abilities or...

HAGGIS!!! YES! I'll bring HAGGIS!

Okay, Green -- good luck with THAT.

I haven't seen any determination of exactly *where* we should all expect to find each other! Do we know if anyone's checked out the rec center? Otherwise, the pavillion and area in the *Maplewood* side is pretty nice.

Thanks you guys for hanging out at the fire. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The funniest thing about the whole evening is that Hannah, the middle child who almost always falls apart after 7:00 or so -- she was the only one of the 3 that pretty much kept it together all night. Go figure!

So was it found in St. Paul or Maplewood? They just said that they don't hide it in Maplewood any more.

St. Paul... right near the rec center between the 2 sledding hills.

Everything west of Mcknight is St. Paul.

Idiots on PP bashed the kids pretty bad. Hey, they had the button, the clues, the medallion.

If you read the fine print on your button you have to be 18 or older to register a button.

Terry

I hope someone recorded it...please?????
Sat, 01/28/2006 - 8:37 AM Permalink

I contacted the station to see if it is possible to purchase a recording of all that. I'll post here when I know anything.

And we should get our act together about the rehash bash.

Are we going to be at the Maplewood pavillion or the rec center area?

Is there electric at either place?

Sounds like we'll have sloppy joes medallions for sure.

I've not yet decided on what I'm bringing, but I'm down to a couple of ideas.

What else?
Sat, 01/28/2006 - 9:13 AM Permalink
Terry

www.coolercrew.com site says rec center. Did I miss that decision? It's about good as anything? Are they open on Sundays? Would be nice to have a warm up place.

I'd like to know as well- are we inside, or outside? Do we need tables? X-tention cords? Power strips?

Stuff and things like that.

Or perhaps a better question would be- Is anyone besides Terry and I going to be there?

I guess I'll wait for all of you to wake up and scrub the sandmen out of your eyes.

There was supposed to be a segment on the 10pm news last night about the mysteries of the hunt. I taped channel 5, but it wasn't on channel 5 (I was tired...). Was it on channel 4?
