 Next year I am gonna have to get out for it. This time though, was the last drill with the unit I deployed with. So, I wanted to spend time with a few of my friends that I will probably not be seeing much of again :frown:

...that means I could not convince them to go to a parade...

--- the last night for downtown "Christmas lights" usually was Feb 14th

the ice skating rinks last day open is February 10th Friday.

a couple of years ago... myself, my sister and a bunch of our cousins rented a van and took a road-trip out to see Mount Rushmore, and Devils Tower and stuff....

when we stopped at Wall Drug, there was this giant poster-board thing that hundreds of people had left notes on, saying who they were and where they were from...

I left a piece of paper from my notebook, that said: "They call me WICKED NICK, and I came here in a white van"
