Shoveler,

You didn't really memorize those 'telescope settings', did you?

Nope wasn't certain trying to remember the soundbite of Leon saying them in the beginning after the clue was distributed. I'll have to look it up this evening and replace them if they are wrong!

Has anyone actually read that the medallion would never be placed in mounds again? You can actually see the radio tower and the first Bank tower if you were close to the western most mounds, that would lead people close to them unfortunately

Those were the settings, I found them on one of the MM pages.

Duff-- the main reason i don't like Mounds is a couple years back people were walking on the burial mounds so i don't think they would put it there

Once again I ask...

Does anybody want to form a caravan tonight and do a drive-by / walk through of key areas. Great way to meet and share visuals!

What would be a goot time and place to start from???

Perhaps Hihgland at 7PM in the parking lot on Montreal just south/east of Edgcumbe RD. Below Pavillion.

Ok everybody...so where do you all think it is. I have my ideas but I'm really not as certain about it this year as I've been in the past. I've heard a few different places, but none of them seem to just jump out and make any sense...

Wed, 01/26/2000 - 4:24 PM Permalink

Are there any wells around any of the parks?

anyone interested in a statue of a viking wearing a cape just south of a church with two towers???

Wed, 01/26/2000 - 4:34 PM Permalink
Duff

If they don't nail the park down with tonights clue, it will be in a smaller park. Usually they give the larger parks away in clue 4 or 5.

Mac-Grove Man

Where is it??? The Statue and Church.

These clues aren't helping me much...and by the looks of it...I don't think I'm the only one...

Wed, 01/26/2000 - 4:46 PM Permalink
the shoveler

what is the movie about?

A treasure hunt following a series of clues throughout LA, where there are five teams (a good team, an evil team, the jock team, a nerd team, and a sorority house team). They travel all across the city in a game designed by fellow student Leon, where each location states a clue leading to another location. All of the teams are fighting to reach the ultimate finish line. It was Michael J. Fox's first movie, and also only the second movie released by Disney to receive a PG rating. It also stars David (American Werewolf in London) Naughton, Stephen (Animal House) Furst, and Eddie (Grease) Deezen.

BTW - Small Straight JOE!!!

actually drinking might not be such a good idea untill after it's found but shoveling is beginning to be painful

Straight green? Don't know whatcha mean... I am a mush brain... LOL! I have been thinking that pace and chase mean near a track and field and also ace and serve would go with a tennis court.... the towers need to be to the north of where you would dig because King Boreas is the king of the north winds.... don't know which park yet.... but am still thinking with the brain cells I have left! LOL
