This is one of the reasons I put very little time into the suburb hunts. They do not get the fact that people put a fair amount of time into it. They also have no set rules and do not care to give the explainations when the hunt is over. I'd be really pissed right now if I'd spent any time on this hunt! Has Jake given them a piece of his mind yet?
I think he is emailing them now... I emailed Mike and the head of the Snowflake Days! I had to backspace over my 'WTF's' but was VERY CLEAR I was pissed!
I get where you guys are coming from but these guys that run these hunts don't understand how insane we are. Hell, the person that runs the BIG hunt doesn't know how insane we are.
Like Mr Med said, this is one of the reasons why I don't do these small town hunts.
The men's state softball tournament was played there last year. My son's played in it and I got lost every time I drove out there. I think it's the only place I've ever been in Coon Rapids.
Jake had to leave the park for work. He says there's about 15 or so people looking in the south end but he doesn't think it'll be found today. Pretty fricken cold out there. No sign of the girls yet.
So no one's found it yet? I think that the misspelled words have something to do with it, but can't make anything of them. I'm out of town at a basketball tournament, but wish I could be back there looking.
I just got back from Coon Rapids. As far as I can tell it hasn't been found. Jake's out there digging. He likes one part of the park, but I don't really like it there. I really can't tell where it is though. This hunt is messed up.
Diane here, President of Snowflake Days. I'm thrilled that you are all out looking for the medallion - we've NEVER needed more than the 15 clues that are posted. I am having our "clue writer" put together one final clue this afternoon and it will be posted sometime shortly after 6PM - hopefully this last clue will help you in your search tomorrow. To the person who finds the medallion - email me at dianebuszta@yahoo.com and we'll make arrangements to provide you your prize! Remember, you need to have a 2006 Snowflake Days button in your possession to claim the prize. Again, sorry there wasn't a clue this morning, I really thought someone would find it by this time so we didn't have one prepared. I know that those who are searching are VERY CLOSE to finding it! Thank you everyone for your support of our celebration.
oops...

As he chanted a jiggity jig informative phrase.
If you stand on the sand in a creek that is unique
On the trail south of dale with the track at your back
and one thing you should know, the four o'clock shadow
from the halt sign which you must align
with the one foot twig, near this you must dig.
This will bring you pleasure when you uncover the treasure
jake would have been thinkin...where is the sun at 4pm???
becksie is almost there
me2 is almost there..
but they already changed the rules once
I was supplied with 14 clues at the beginning of the Snowflake Days
Celebration. These clues are to be posted no later than 8:00AM each
morning. Every clue up to this point have been posted on time and in most
cases up to 5 hours earlier than stated in the rules. Yesterday I had
brought to the cities attention that we would need 16 clues to bring us up
to Saturday, Jan 18th. This afternoon I received one last and final clue.
That clue was posted as soon as I received it. As far as I know, this is
the final clue of the Medallion Hunt.
As far as the amount of clues and/or the origion of these clues are
concerned, I have no control over these matters. Please forward any
questions or concerns regarding the Medallion Hunt to the City of Coon
Rapids or the Snowflake Days committee.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Why does it still show Ableminds at the top of my browser even when I'm in the Snowflake site?
