We decided we weren't going anywhere. It's too dang cold. We'll see what it's like in the morning. No sense going and then spending the evening alongside the freeway.

the monthly junior bowling tournament visits south saint paul tomorrow ... we'll be at wells lanes from 8:30 am 'til afternoon, hopefully late afternoon
a strong performance this month would move kollin into all star contention - top 5 males in a seven state (and canada) area.

last time I was there, like.... 2 summers ago I remember it being pretty crappy lane conditions pretty much all around..... enough to make me not wanna go back the past 2 years, anyways.
I feel like one of those drfiter guys from movies, when I go anyplace to bowl with friends.... they all suck, and I end up kick the crap out of them because i've been doing it for so long.....
On the subject of bowling, I think it's an interesting game to watch and frustrating to play. It seems fairly simple, yet I'm generally satisfied if I break 80.
We used to do stupid storm chasing crap back in the day.... thinking we knew what we were doing...
I'm pretty sure we came close to dying one night out in Burnsville, a couple years back... it stormed all super bad, and just as we thought it was over, it was like someone turned a faucet on us full blast.... we ended up in the middle of some random, in-the-middle-of-noplace intersection that happened to be flooded.... car stalled on us....
I should dig that video out.... we honestly thought we were as good as dead, and started saying our "goodbyes" to a video camera
Only thing is to get involved you need an amateur radio license.
I don't expect I'll really go storm chasing, but if I happen to be in a bad weather area, at least I can relay some data back to the people in charge of issuing storm warnings.

Still would like to get a weather monitoring station installed at home and uplink the data to weatherunderground.com (just so far the cost has proved prohibitive).

and she wants to see my UFO video tape, along with a camping one where I fought my evil twin - "Rick" in a nasty duel....

but in this case, I'll make one too... mostly because I wanna see Prince atleast once, if I can get a chance... which I probably wont, this time around....

my mom did saturday leagues there for a long time, up until a couple years ago, also.....
