you should watch "As time goes by" on pbs... it is kind of the same story about lost love reuniting... a perfect program for the incurable romantic :smile:

How did your son do in his tournament this past weekend Ian? I was thinking of running down there for a while and then a couple of my kids showed up and spent the day.
The first two games put him too far down for a decent comeback. After five games, he was 34th out of 58. After 9 games he was 20th, and the top 14 spots cashed. They're tough lanes. He couldn't get anything consistent going.
Would have been fun to see a couple of those 200 plus games. I've only bowled a few times in my life, and always there. Obviously I've never done very well. Now I can blame the tough lanes. :pbpt:
Saw 2 was just about as good as the first one -shoulda seen the twist coming. I could NEVER do bodily harm to myself EVEN to save myself- I'm such a wuse

a kick ass ACTION based on a true story- I loved it! (and I don't say that about too many movies) Rourke and Kiera ROCKED!! and the 90210 bit was funny....
I won't say how great it was so you can be as blown away as I was- :pbpt:
I did however get Domino AND Pride & Prejudice -just so I could see her at extremes
I just finished watching Domino. Thanks for posting your review as I would have never thought to rent it otherwise. The critics nailed it and thought it sucked. I liked it myself even if it was a bit confusing in the middle. The soundtrack kicked ass and Keira and Mickey were great. She is hot but she did bug me on the red carpet last week. She came early and never left. OK OK Keira, we see you.
The movie definitely had a cool factor about it. The arm scene reminded me of Natural Born Killers. Which is a good thing :wink:
I agree with the middle being a little confusing but I chalked it up to watching it after midnight. I like a movie that will make you think about it though- get the wheels turning so to speak. Makes me feel smart to try and figure it all out- like a puzzle or game :wink:

Southwood, Casey Lake, Dorothy and Silver Lake are the only parks that border on the edge of North St. Paul. The only park that clearly borders on the edge is Southwood (along holloway ave).
Red tassel, could be a reference to the high school, or just a reference to a mortar board cap for graduation. Southwood park has some old brickword that looks to be the remnants of a basement (one place I'd check tonight).
So far, like Mr. Med has said, they've gone park - public land - park - public land. I think 36 also fits as one year it's been northside, the next the south.
