I only tape the 10:00 news and catch the noon if it happens to be on. I would assume so since it took so long for them to complete the set. Might as well use it.
they are building some new sets... and the set that you are talking about does have a feature that dims the background... but still takes time to get that together. They do have security guards and outside cameras... but would probably do a break-away shot to the weather center which is about 40 ft away if they had a mooner. I have noticed that some of the glass co. in town have figured out the advertising value of conveniently parking their trucks in just the right spot during the noon news. I was there on martin luther king day... this kid kept walking back and forth past the window making faces... obviously enjoying his own reflection.... you should have seen the look of horror on his face when he realized that all of those faces were caught on live tv. When he looked at the monitor it was a deer in the headlights moment. :goofy:
OMG - THAT'S your biggest downfall? Pahleeze. You shouldn't leave the house if you're worried about those types of things. At least you can clean the screen. Try and clean your servers hands once. :eyeroll:
Well.. granted there's a lot of diseases out there and odd germs, it's good to keep stuff germ free, but I'd be against going too far to keep everything germ free.
Half of the medicines out there include dead (or partially anyway) viruses or whatnot, basically to boost your immune system. If your immune system gets used to no germs from living in a sterile environment, just think what'd happen if you ran into one germ.bacteria/what have you.
kitch, I had lunch with Jake yesterday ...you wouldnt like seeing me eat a 1/4 pound Snuffy burger and onion rings with the hands I had after treasure hunting yesterday afternoon--- dirt under the fingernails ----mmmmmmmmm
Im incredibly picky about clean hands but I was way to tired to get up from the table. :frown:
I hear ya there. That's probably how BK will market it's vending machines against MD's. There is a lot to say for the personal touch. At least you can bitch at someone if the cook in the back screws something up. Instead of hitting a button that says 'complain'
I guess I was looking at it more from an economic standpoint. As I'm sure there will be jobs created to design, assemble and maintain the equipment but not sure how that'll help the local entry level job market since I'm sure those positions created will probably be abroad.
There is a lot to say for the convenience of today's self serve society. But that's only efficient until some 90 year old can't decide which button to push to get her coffee refilled. :eyeroll:
They'll probably roll it out something like Walmart where 1/2 the registers are self serve at first. They'll still need someone to monitor the selfserves for problems. Just like Walmart too.
As far as shopping cart handles go - one more reason to try Simons  Let alone that your handling your food 6 times versus 1.

that's like going to the olive garden after a long hard day's work on a construction project. hey. "when you're here, you're family", and i'd go to my grandma's house after working hard
I'm sure in my buncha years of hunting that I've eaten there once or twice before hunting....
as a matter of fact, I think I dined there the night before the medallion was found at Como, back in 2003....
I'm going to file a complaint with the medallion committee, and have them review the results from that year..... I'm sure that after hearing about this Snuffy's discovery, they'll reverse their decision and declare me the actual finder.....
I'm not liking this...
you use the same screen thing after him...gross...
ok...just one reason I don't like it...
And I always where rubber gloves when ordering fast food.

Hope that works. :frown:
can't grow as fast.

"Some 54% of the shopping carts Dr. Gerber tested contained body fluids, and 21% tested positive for blood, mucus or urine." :worried:
I feel sick. :asleep:

Byerlys now has sanitizing stuff by the door to use on the cart handle.
That was kind. Bet you had to edit yourself. :pbpt:

I haven't done any mock hunts. Besides, after north st paul, I was wiped out (seriously, I put a lot of time in on that hunt).
theres also one on St. Clair someplace....
I beleive theres 3 or 4 around here...
that first one is the only one that I've been to though...
Other people can see him now.
Dont you guys watch that show?
:goofy:
I remember watching the first show with my son who was six at the time. Thought it was really a weird show. Nothing like it on TV until then.

It's always a treasure when you show up.
