The news just had a small feature on, about mardi gras down in N.O.
evidentlly they gotta buncha dudes that run around and hand out beads and other assorted cool stuff, who wear masks, and are called the "Krewe", and they also have a king of the whole deal, named "Rex"......
Just synonymous terms, probably pop up a lot. Of course Krewe seems mostly associated with costumed groups in mardi gras, probably where the Winter Carnival got the name.
It was an e-mail that Trent sent to the PP. He was mad because they only quoted him as saying that Kirk had bad teeth and a beard. And nothing else from his long interview with them. I'd be pissed too.
Does anyone want to party clean up at Crosby on Earth Day? It's a Saturday, right, April 22? I'd break my no geo-event hosting, if enough cooler crew wanna show up.
FWIW, the 'official' geo-event for Earth Day is at Thompson Park, Dakota County. I wouldn't mind a little competition with the association. HEH

and that they're simply too afraid to have a giant festival during the winter, so they move it to February-March...

trent is ticked at PP for what they used for article...
