What irritates you?

I'm really upset about this, too. The person I'm firing isn't exactly a spring chicken, and she needs the job. I haven't gone into detail here and I won't, but she really deserves it.

Along those same lines, I feel bad because the person does need the job- but if you really needed the job that badly, would you be screwing up to the blatant extent that they are?

The thing that makes me angry is that she was a reflection on me and her poor work makes me look bad.

Thanks OT but I have an appt. with Key Cadillac tomorrow morning. They sub it out but I have some other things I want fixed too. The glass isn't broken it just doesn't want to shut. I'm glad it's nice out today. Unfortunately, I drained my battery messing with the sunroof and had to wait for over an hour for this kid to come from Woodbury to jump me. He said he was just in from Dallas to help out. Nice help.

Turned out something like that was the best thing that coulda happened to me. I didn't like it at the time, but things have a way of working out.

I might call her afterall. Cadillac could fix it but it would cost me $300 for new tracks. I'll tell her OT sent me.

just found out like 5 minutes ago that one of my step-cousins (my uncle married her mom, a buncha years ago), was literally kidnapped like 2 nights ago...

one of my other cousins (her step-sister).... was with this dude for a long ass time.. has like 5 kids with him.... they were on and off for a buncha years..

well... like 2 maybe 3 years ago...

she calls it off with him, because he's psycho as hell, involved with mexican gangs, drug dealing..... hardcore crap... he starts dating her step-sister.... my step cousin, the one I started this post talkin about...

then she breaks it off with him, after maybe a year and a half, cause she finds out exactly how psycho he really is...

now.... I guess... he forced her car off the road, like 2 nights ago, and made her get in his car, and nobody has heard from either of them since..

evidentlly the cops are supposedly out looking for him, and he's had some kinda warrants out for him for a long ass time for a buncha crazy stuff...

straight out of america's most wanted, I tell ya.... wheres John Walsh when you need him?

Salesman bastard says I can give you this great deal for 4 months and all you have to do is call back in 4 months to get the next deal.

Wrong. They make you wait 90 days before getting any new deal. Then raise your rates to more than double of what they were to begin with if I'd stay with my original plan.

Anybody have Dish? How is it? I'm sick of these assholes. The customer service says the sales people do it all the time and make them have to be the bearer of bad news.

That's not true cluey. I go from deal to deal to deal. You just have to tell them the right thing - tell them that you're going to cancel and get a dish and demand the same deal that you had to make you stay as a customer.

I did exactly that bear and she wasn't budging. She sent me to a supervisor and she wasn't budging either. I'll see what the sales guy does tonight. He comes on at 10pm.
