its still set up, from last year, but at the very top "Entertainment highlights 2006: Alice Cooper, Soul Asylum, Los Lonely Boys, The Hollies, Association, Peter Noone, and more"
I got this email today...took me a minute to really figure out what was going on! now I have to figure out how to stay in the building!!
Hello Everyone,
As you know, Landmark Center is highly sought after for hosting many special events. On Wednesday, May 3rd we have been chosen to host the reception after the official screening of the movie opening "A Prairie Home Companion", which is being held at the Fitzgerald Theater.
Due to the nature of the reception we are holding from 9:00 pm to Midnight on that date, we will be closing the building to all tenants starting at 7:00 pm. (SteppingStone is the exception, due to their rehearsal needs, with a departure time NO LATER THAN 9:00 PM.)
Outside security will be heavily involved with the event and we can not be responsible for any of your staff being stopped or held for wandering in the building after that time. (Like the rest of us, you will have to settle for the "bragging rights" that the event is taking place in "your" office building!!) Thank you for respecting this request.
Wow.. if I go to nothing else all year... I HAVE to see Alice Cooper... has been a dream of mine to see one of his shows since the Raise Your Fist and Yell tour with G&R... Probably not as good at the T.O.M. as a real concert, but rocking enough...
But then again I want a lot of things... :frown:
my suggestions.... purchase one of those t-shirts from a store, that say "Security" on the back, then hide out in the bathroom, until the event starts.... put the shirt on, (maybe add some sunglasses, to make the costume seem more legit - i'd go with blue-blockers from 1987 or so.... possibly attatch a real looking walkie talkie to the waist-band of your bands, also) then head out into the event, station yourself near a pillar, or door, so as not to attratct too much attention....
that works too, incase you actually are spotted.... you can just run out the door and take off....
this months is once again packed full of food stuff...
theres an interesting article, talking about that "Cooks of Crocus hill" place.... I think thats the right name...
looks like they recently started "singles cooking classes" for different age ranges 20's, 30's, 40's etc....and try to split it evenly amongst males/females... so people can meet, and have fun learning how to make new dishes....
sounds both scary and exciting.... i'm thinking about signing up...
It's strange being the first to post. Where are you guys?
I've already been to Roseville and back. The clouds have blown northeast and the sun is shining .....mmmmmmmmmm I'm tired. It was hard to crawl out of bed thismorning.
I'm leaving peeps on top of my computer, at this very second, to express my anger.
Then they would toast them over a campfire instead of regular marshmellows. They said the sugar makes a wonderful coating.
at least their stock of reese's eggs is gone.
they had a tendancy to order just enough easter stuff to get by, whereas for halloween, they seriously over-ordered everything

he would have cracked...
so who was the kid that took the 10?
what was he wearing? didn't he know that a full house beat the flush?
and no...he almost missed it....he was saying he was sooo "nervous"
But then again I want a lot of things... :frown:
"We ain't got no innocence, but we sure do have a ton of flatulance...."
I think i'd rather have more of those than flatulance...
Then again, I suppose it depends on the crowd that i'm with :eyeroll:
that works too, incase you actually are spotted.... you can just run out the door and take off....
you just gotta look official, like you're getting the job done, and once they see the "security" on the back, nobody second guesses you being there.
I dont know about that movie event though....
I do not support sneaking into events.
(that is ofcourse, unless you can get me in, too.)
