I hopefully will be training for a new job, if I can get a promotion. I interviewed for a supervisory position today, so we'll see how that goes. But set a date and I'll let Mystical know. My lunch is 11:15-noon by the way.
I watched this special on CNBC on Starbucks last night. It was quite interesting. I thought Starbucks was this wellknown company when it came here and it wasnt. I also found out that they supposedly offer this great medical plan to part timers. hhhhhmmmmmmmm
anyone in need of a job with medical?
I know I know--- going against us Caribou lovers. I was gonna check out their bennies.
Ha - I just got a call from a guy named Johnny K. with whom I worked with a few days a while back and stored his number in my cell. I called my bro-in-law and wished him a happy 420 yesterday and said a few other things as well. His name was Johnny K. too. Ooops. HAHA. Fun time trying to explain why I wished the work Johnny a happy 420 when he had no idea what it meant. He does now.
I think it would depend on the manager, technically you aren't supposed to I don't think but we always did.
mistakes? I don't make mistakes.
but hypothetically, I would offer it to the person that's drink I screwed up, depending on the error. i.e. if it was supposed to be decaf and I made it with caf I would say "this one has caf, do you want it for a friend?", etc...
I signed in, to meet with the guy that was supposed to hire me, and evidenlly he was canned THE day that he called me....
shredded everything in his office, and nobody else had any idea what I was there for, or that there was even an opening in that area...
blah....
But I drank all their crappy coffee, and accidentally broke their culligan water dealy thing, during the three hours I was waiting to speak to people.... and I dont even like plain coffee...
hi to Coolers everywhere! I know I haven't been around much (not intentional, though). Just keepin' busy...my son moved in, my daughter's moving out, my brother was here from Chicago, I'm going to Chicago next weekend for my niece's wedding, Texas in May for my nephew's graduation, and yada, yada, yada! I'm going to try to make a better effort to get in here a little more often! I hope everyone is doing WELL!!!
Unfortunately I work up in lovely Arden Hills, so making it downtown for a lunch might be a little difficult. Thanks for thinking of me though, maybe I can try and work something out in the future.
Shagawa Lake Ice Out Contest ends with the disappearance of ice. In 2005 this took place on Sunday, April 17 at 1:46 p.m. as reported by the staff at Grand Ely LodgeÂ’s Antlers Lounge, official judges
its not a few blocks south.... its actually right there... theres a store, and its in the same building.
but yeah... its a pretty happening place... unless you've gotta be a sober driver for somebody, which seems to happen to me, whenever I go there.
ive gotta few friends of family members that have moved to that area in the last while, and thats one of their chosen hangouts.
being a sober driver sucks though.... blah....
people puking out of windows, people throwing up in their own car, and then asking you what you spilled in it, later on....people, losing a shoe, and then making everybody within earshot look for it...people being drunk, and stealing their car keys back, while you're in the bathroom, and then leaving you there... watch out in that last situation... its not pretty... because anyone you run into still thinks you're drunk.
Face it: You yearn to waste time. But the older you get, the guiltier you feel about the naps, the Playstation, the beer. Luckily there are respectable, productive ways to while away the hours, and the best local example of this is the Minnesota Historical Society Library. Minnesota history, believe it or not, is colorful and a little twisted, and the library contains a breathtaking array of academically inclined goodies so you can discover the juicy details. In addition to federal and state censuses, there are records from state correctional facilities and asylums, court records, and indexes of birth and death certificates. You can't just look up your neighbors—these records are very old, mostly, and some require certain permissions for access, but most are available for perusal. There are also decades' worth of city and rural directories, various newspapers (Twin Cities and otherwise) on microfilm, all manner of maps and additional resources far too numerous to mention. Spend a lazy afternoon goofing off and indulging your inner egghead all at once. When you're done you'll walk away smarter. Can't say that about naps or beer, now can you?
I find alot of those categories funny as hell, every year.... they just put stuff in there, so they can name something they like - "the best of whatever"....
I like the categories about restaurants or music and stuff... and how the readers poll choices differ from the CP picks.... gives you more stuff to check out...
that Duplex place.. I think it was voted "Best restaurant for a first date", is a good deal...
