I saw one similar to the "Beat It" jacket, at Goodwill not too long ago, when I was on a hunt for wrestling clothes....

I kinda wish that I would have bought it... just incase some totally rad 80s costume party comes up.

We need to get some of those pants to match.

Damn right...

and the glove... cant forget the oldschool glove, with the matching socks.

and then i'll just walk up into "dance night" at a club, someplace and stare people down.

Or maybe just go to a ranch, and ride the tilt-a-whirl for a while.... or whatever it is that people do at ranches.

I heard that on the radio today. I'm disappointed. My family has enjoyed that display. Seems like $50,000 is pretty cheap for all that they provide for that day.

You can still get the Bon Jovi jacket at a lot of places... I was surprised that was still around... But then again I was surprised to see men wearing fringes...

Hmmm... I bet the infantry unit based out of St Paul (well, there used to be one from W. St. Paul...) would love to volunteer for security... Use all of the resources you have!

sweet....

atleast that way, if you're ever driving around and a gang of thugs is going to try and pull you over and rob you, they'll think twice

"those might be ninjas, in that thing... lets find somebody else, instead"

Ninjas are overrated. I got into a fight with one once.

They'd probably be ready to fight thinking he's a ninja, then he'd just pull out some huge gun and mess them all up.

A good 45 puts an end to all that karate crap any day unless you go against Bruce Leroy he can catch bullets in his teeth, and Bear if they told you they were ninjas then they weren't really ninjas just wantabees

No, they were really ninjas, it was at a martial arts expo a few years back. There's a dojo in NE Mpls that trains in ninjitsu. We were supposed to be working and learning and the guy went overboard. We had to be separated by guys in black belts.

They're crazy. They train on a concrete floor.

Well that's a style where its not practical to spare, they don't even have blocks it's called defensive strikes if you punch them they break your arm in three places then you can't punch them again. I did a lot of reading about it when I was younger.

I think I have read every book this guy has writen interesting stuff http://www.ashidakim.com/

http://news.yahoo.com/s/space/20060428/sc_space/superiortimeforplanetwatching

There are now three "superior" planets that are readily visible in our early evening spring sky: Mars, Saturn and Jupiter [Map]. A superior planet is defined as one whose mean distance from the Sun is greater than that of the Earth.

During the late fall and winter, Mars and Saturn were at their best when they reached their respective oppositions to the Sun (Mars on November 7, Saturn on January 27). At these occasions, besides shining at their very brightest and appearing largest in telescopes, these two planets were visible for the entire night, rising at sunset, attaining their highest point in the sky at midnight and setting at sunrise. And this week, Jupiter will be arriving at opposition (on May 4)....

My kid just taught me that Pluto wasn't the farthest planet from the sun only until 1999. We were all lied to in school! I knew the moon landing was staged! :worried:

Nah... I knew that about Pluto... I was all into that planet/space stuff back in the day.... I took a buncha Astronomy classes... for a few years....

as well as Geology, although that subject doesnt have much to do with other planets, so much as our own

METEOR SHOWER: Earth is about to pass through a stream of dust from Halley's Comet, and this will produce the annual eta Aquarid meteor shower. The shower peaks on Saturday, May 6th, with 10 meteors per hour in the northern hemisphere and as many as 60 meteors per hour in the southern hemisphere. The best time to look is during the hours immediately before sunrise on Saturday morning.

OD - That's super! Our place up north is always dark skies too...but we won't be up there this weekend. Our daughter is graduating from Augsburg on Saturday and we're having an open house on Sunday.

She has only invited a bazillion people. Sure hope the weather is nice. This house isn't all that big!

I wish I could. Cinco de Mayo Friday = lots and lots and lots of beer (maybe some te-kill-ya!) and mexican food.

then brewfest all day Saturday (if I can get my butt out of bed and drive up to boonsville for it)

then wonderbread 5 concert Saturday night

or - a trip to chico (college party capitol of the state) all day Saturday...

That's a lot of par-tae par-tae... to expect to be awake with enough cognition to see the sky.

I'm paying for 12 family sized taco pizzas for my crew for Friday. Then I plan to duck out early and hit up the West Side with some mexipals. My nick name is Brad Gonzales at work because I represent the Lats as far as the rest of the management team figures. It's a big deal at work as I'm sure it is for you too L4V
