What irritates you?

Having a SSN that ends in 2 high digits so I had to register for next fall classes after everyone else.

By the time I had a chance to register, all the classes I needed were full :angry: So now I had to reschedual everything. Finally got at least some classes to get me by, but have to reschedual everything through next year. All this after I was assured that there would be no problems as long as I was ahead of the new students. Wasted afternoon. :frown:

No pull there bud - they have their own parking manager/dept for that place. Although I'm still in charge of the maintenance of the whole parking ramp and building. I'm the only one in my dept. that even gets free parking. I can see why when it's that expensive.

ice cream - or rather, dreaming about homemade spumoni ice cream from the local ice cream shop... only to go there tonight with my girlfriends to find out that they are sold out of that flavor (most popular) cause it was so nice today.

So I had berry sorbet instead - and it just wasn't the same.

My idiot bank, yesterday, when I cashed my payroll and comission check, transfered all of my money in my checking account - and all of the remaining money, into my savings account! What the *moderated*? /b

I just bought 20 dollars of food at cub and my card was denied because all of my money was in my savings account.

bear - that is miserable.. but I'm laughing my butt off - cause that has happened to me before as well, and it's maddening - and I'm glad I'm not the only one it's ever happened to.

It doesn't even make any sense. I had plenty of money in both places and have rollover so if I don't have enough money in my checking acount it should take money from the savings.

Some genius plan to get past a traditional phone system at the new office. I spent 8 hours yesterday trying to make the phones play nice with the router. Finally gave up and said we need to have static IPs for all 7 phones. That'll cost a pretty penny, heh.

BTW, that's only the tip of the iceberg at my job. Got moved to the new place, took ALL weekend, and when I mean all, I mean from 8 am until 1 am, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Not even much of a lunch/dinner break. My 6 hours of sleep have been tormented with dreams of work. My boss finally said saturday that he appreciated all my efforts, and that he would try to get me some time off after we get a couple people hired and everything running smoothly. That'll probably be in a month or two... when he's forgotten all about it.

I don't care if armageddon comes tonight, I'm going home at 5:30.

2 weeks ago, we had an opportunity to turn down offers of employment with the new company (just like 3/4s of our co-workers did). The 2 left agreed to stay if I stayed. I agreed to stay if they would. I told them all in a meeting that this transition would have a LOT of problems. They were all smiles then "Oh this is a great opportunity, blah blah blah" :eyeroll:

Now they're whining and complaining and telling me how bad it is, and how they want to just walk off.

I should have walked 2 weeks ago when this started, I KNEW it would happen.

If only you knew a recruiter.

heh, I do. And I have no doubt I'll be using that resource in the near future. Just gotta get this place up and running relatively smoothly. The boss is supposed to be hiring a couple employees soon, after which I'll should be able to leave while still giving this place a fighting chance of survival.

And yeah, I know, I'm being too nice. Guess that's one of my personality defects.

when we were only inside his place for about 5 minutes, somebody smashed the f'n window, took his car stereo, a pack of smokes, a bunch of his CD's, a 12 pack of beer, a can of pringles, and my guitar....

crazy, semi-depressed, (although not as much today, as lately thanks to a nice pick-me-up) maybe..... but yeah... the punks are lucky we didnt catch them, we would have gone oldschool EHF (that was our backyard wrestling fed) style on them, before calling the cops.

we drove around for about 15 minutes, trying to see if we could spot someone or a group of people.... its hard to know if they were walking, and carrying all that stuff, or were in a car....

they're just damn lucky, we didnt find out.

Whats even worse, is this is like the 4th time within the past 2 months that somebody has hit this guys car, and jacked his stereo.... the last time, they even had the balls to somehow disconnect his alarm system, which he still hasnt gotten fixed....

for anyone thinking "thats the east side, for you"... it didnt even happen back here in the hood, we were out in a richy-rich section of Eden Prarie....

I wasnt all that pissed at first.. but seeing how he was reacting - close to tears - kinda got me in the I-wanna-beat-somebody-down mood.....

I'm not pretty when i'm like that.... which thankfully doesnt happen too often...
