hmm - only 400 cases and released to restaurants in NY. I did say that Daniel Restaurant was going to carry it. you might be able to call them and ask to buy a bottle.
yeah - it's still there - it just suxs ass from time to time loading it. Myspace is having problems with all these idiots trying to create trackers and stuff.
no! it's disgusting that is why it's called 2 buck chuck.
Charles Shaw would ROLL OVER IN HIS GRAVE if he knew what Bronco wines was doing with his name!
It's cast away bulk wine that they are getting for about a buck a gallon, and producing out millions of cases for people who have absolutely not palate.
Some of the stuff has such high VA (vinegar) that It's past the taste threshhold and starting to push the legal tolerances.
The PLUS side? it's eatten up so much of the bad bulk on the market, that it's allowed better wines to demand a higher price out there.
The down side? people who aren't familiar with wine drink it (and think that is representative of wine) and never know what actual *good* wine is. (might explain some of the increase in beer sales)
you want a good cheap bottle?? find some Chateau Beauregard (Cost Plus is one carrier) it's $2.99 a bottle and made surprisingly well.
how about the new aussie bag in the box 1.5L wines? they are in sealed bags the collapse upon themselves to seal in freshness, and are actually not *sucky*
you should make some phone calls Kitchy - he loves that. He's the weenie... or that's what my mom thinks.
You will like him - he's way into caching now, and I think may even like treasure hunting... although he may prefer the drinking part to the digging part....
"We can take worms, and using experiments, we can ask them questions about what they can smell. They move toward something they like and move away from something they don't like. And you can measure that," he said.
hmm - why can't we just use babies? doesn't everyone move toward something they ike and away from things they don't? I dunno about you, but you don't see me leaping though the dump site the way I do through a patch of wildflowers.
Wal-Mart announced on June 8th, 2006, that it will begin offering customers a new discount item, Wal-Mart's own brand of wine. The world's largest retail chain is teaming up with Ernest & Julio Gallo Winery of California,to produce the spirits at an affordable price, in the $1-$3 range.
Wine connoisseurs may not be inclined to put a bottle of the Wal-Mart brand into their shopping carts, but "there is a market for inexpensive wine," said Kathy Micken, professor of marketing at University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. A spokesman for Gallo said the company has long searched for an avenue for properly marketing its less well known products.
Micken said, "The right name is important." Customer surveys were conducted by Wal-Mart to determine the most attractive name for the WalMart wine brand. The top surveyed names in order of popularity were:
10. Chateau Traileur Parc
9. White Trashfindel
8. Big Red Gulp
7. World Championship Riesling
6. NAS CARbernet
5. Chef Boyardeaux
4. Peanut Noir
3. I Can't Believe its Not Vinegar!
2. Grape Expectations
1. Nasti Spumante
The beauty of the Wal-Mart brand of wine, she said, is that it can be served with either white meat (Possum) or red meat (Squirrel); or it can be mixed with beer.

I'll see if I can hunt that wine down.
