Those look like something to try Joel. Do you know if they carry them in any local stores? My grandfather would get a kick out of them as well.

Not sure, but I know the vending machine downstairs from me has em. They are HOT.

And that's saying something, cause I'm not a chili wuss.

Oh man, there's a ton of powder in the bottom of the bag. I'd have to dare someone to eat it... or take a dare to myself.

We had a bag of them going around last weekend. They bought them for me because I say the same thing that foods that say their hot are never really that hot. These we presently hot for a change. Loved 'em! :pbpt: I don't know where they sell em down here because they got them in Duluth. I took the rest of the bag home with me though.

Police ask for public's help finding missing man

The Blaine Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 75-year old man.

Blaine Police Sgt. Todd Olson says Norman Oleander Olson was last seen Thursday night driving to a Subway restaurant on the east side of Blaine.

Olson's family told Blaine Police that Norman has begun to exhibit early signs of Alzheimers.

On Friday morning, Olson made a cell phone call to his daughter that authorities were able to trace to Westby, Wisconsin, which is near La Crosse. Later Friday night, authorities learned that Olson was near Madison, Wisconsin.

Olson is driving a 2000 Gold Ford Taurus with Minnesota Korean Veteran license number 3450.

Olson is 5'9" tall, and weighs 200 pounds. He has grey hair, a beard and mustache.

Anyone who might see Olson is asked to call 911.

    PF Status Message

June 3, 12:56 PM: Our dedicated server has been suspended for non-payment. This does not correspond with what I thought our host's timing/policy was, or with the pattern from previous months, but we do have an outstanding bill. I thought we would have until early next week to raise the funds. I was going to post a notice to that effect yesterday, but I got in a fairly substantial car accident yesterday, and it pretty much blew my day out. (I'm fine, FWIW. My car's done for though.)

Anyway, we need to get our hosting bill paid ASAP in order to get our server turned back on. The WebX database should be fine, so once we get the bill paid, I should just be able to start the site right back up.

The bill is $224, and we have a total of $7 currently. (See the message above for updates.) Your donations of any amount would be much appreciated - all donations will go directly toward our hosting bill. You can donate via Paypal here.

If for some reason we are unable to pay the bill and get the site back up, I will refund any donations to the extent possible. (I don't know how many refunds Paypal will allow us to issue, so in some cases, we might have to send the money back via a separate Paypal payment, in which case we would only be able to refund the donation minus the fee Paypal charges us to accept it (3-4%).

The site can be back up in a matter of hours if we can raise this money. And we have raised much more than this in a matter of hours before.

Losing my car has created a serious financial pinch for me, but I will donate $10 right now, in addition to my $5 monthly donation. Can you help at all?

The total raised will be updated in the message area above this one. Thanks in advance for your help. I'm sorry for this sudden (and unexpected) outage.

    So..... I almost died tonight....

myself and steve, ended up being washed off the road in a wall of water down in lilydale....shortly after we got done tempting the gods, by playing with a Ouija board at the angel-of-death graveyard for a 666 gathering with some other friends

not to mention, that earlier in the night, the rain came down so hard that it stalled the car out on 35E, and we came within inches of being road-kill of some huge semi-truck....

I told those guys we shouldnt be out in the rain, too.... the rain isnt a positive aspect in my life, anymore....

I can't distinguish one hellish day from another these days. Then again when you have a schedule like mine, everything tends to blend together anyway.

Personally I don't pay much attention to a number. Y2K came and went without an issue, and it sucked, cause I was in IT at the time, everyone looked to me for answers before it, then turned around and laughed at me about it afterwards, making me look like an idiot (even though whenever I was asked about it I just told people don't worry about it, not a big deal, if they wanted to plan for disaster go ahead, can't hurt to be prepared, etc.).

So, today down at my dads work, they called some big meeting, to let all the workers know that the company is being sold to some competitor out of St. Louis....

he brought home this paper thing they handed out, saying, essentially that come september, the place is closing up.... I guess the city has wanted the land the company sits on, for a long, long time now (riverfront revitilazation)... and this will probably be their chance to get it...

he's been there for 30 years or so and there are only 2 other guys there with more seniority than him... they all plan to stick around until the ship sinks for good...

After-which he doesnt know what he's going to do... doesnt want to find other work, but doesnt know if he's going to retire (since he had it planned out that he would do that within the next year or so, anyhow)

He's got a pretty big retirement fund thing that has been growing over the years, through the company, should he go that route. but at this time its all up in the air...

I guess there was supposedly a story in the paper today about the sale of the company... havent seen it yet... dont really care to...
