I finally made it to the very top of my building. Thanks to that awesome hail storm last Friday we had plenty of cleanup work to do up there. Here's two shots showing perspective. The first is a zoomed 2 shot panoramic and the second one is an 6 shot panoramic without zoom to show what it actually feels like up there. Damn! :worried: :ooh:

I'm not afraid of heights. In reality I love the looking down shots just as much as looking up. I'm kinda scared just looking at your view from my computer though. I tried that at Jakes...felt like I could drop or get pushed at any second. :eek: :frown: :eek: did you lay on your tummy and look down over the edge?

i;m not afraid of falling either. its that sudden stop at the bottom that gets me.

...most people are afraid of "falling" vs. heights...but I have seen people that will not even stand on top of a picnic table as HEIGHTS freak them out...

very rare....I learned this when I worked at scout camp on a climbing wall...

only 2 kids had EXTREME panic attacks..

I froze once when we were painting the house. I had climbed out onto the front porch roof to paint the front, looked down, and just froze. I was hugging the siding like a fly on the windshield of a moving car! I also panicked once on a bluff in Winona and was standing about 20 feet from the edge of the bluff. :chagrin:

back in junior high when we started our backyard wrestling fed - I perfected the art of jumping off of a backyard tool shed... I think it was like 15 feet high? <scratches head>....

crashing through a flaming table, on the way down, sucks though...

Thanks Guys. It was fun and not sure when I can get up there again. Lots of security BS for the very top. It has to be written out and formerly approved before even getting into that stairwell. I heard that at IDS they actually require a permit and $ to even take pictures from the top floor let alone on the roof. I suppose it does make some sense. I do know that my bro was able to get some shots from up there during a wedding reception that he was at though.

Heh, I'd be happy to jump through some security hoops to take some shots up there. Afterall I'm just a amateur photographer, not lookin to cause any trouble.
