I'm going to try montana then head to roseville

ThoseMedallingKids

I was doing that. There's a page on there telling about all the upcoming developments, but nothing really seems really close to any of the parks.

Yeah, but he lived in Tupelo and Memphis as a boy I believe. Perhaps it's referring to song lyrics?

thanks kitch-I figured that arrow out 5 minutes later.

Harvest is usually in the fall?

I'm thinking mormons with lemonade now-

harvest = wheat?

I didn't see any lemon trees out there.

Woodstock?

the lights when out in georgia? when the lights go down - Faith Hill -which talked about Janis Joplin

what about electrical? or lights over a baseball field

how about just a bandshell? Woodstock was free and so are the concerts at Walton

I'd hate to hear we were standing on top of where it would be one year later. :frown:

Clue #2

As the sun rises you can see its reflection

while ducks and geese enjoy the protection

a splash away from where the wildlife nests

is a comfy spot where the medallion rests.

Coordinate Number: 93

ha...told you it would be 93 hahah...

Just came back from my 5 hour tour of Oakdale.

Man o man there are some nice house (mansions) tucked away there!
Fri, 06/23/2006 - 9:46 AM Permalink
mrmnmikey

The Kings Drive is a private road leading to one of those "mansions" by oak dale park, just due east of Preservation park.

I saw some faces that might go unoticed on the childrens memorial next to preservation.

Presly used to hang around Beal st in memphis. Not sure how that fits anything though.

Also the pair might be the pair of parks. Theres a place where Luster park and Oakdale park signs are right across the street from each other.

I keep thinking that feet and limbs all in a row could be a tree line along a walking path?

KC0GRN

gah.. preservation park.. haven't been to that one yet... I think I need to look at all the natural areas.
Fri, 06/23/2006 - 10:24 AM Permalink
mrmnmikey

what struck me about Preservation is the painting of 5 or 6 kids faces on the building next door (Childrens memorial daycare)

I don't know, I'm lost.

I think everyone in oakdale is.

I'm actually surprised it hasn't been found out of dumb luck by now.
Fri, 06/23/2006 - 11:09 AM Permalink
ThoseMedallingKids

For that amount of money, I would hope it's not found out of dumb luck. Unless it's one of us who did it. But then again, we're pros, we don't need dumb luck.

ya...but I'd rather be lucky than good...

I'm not a pro.. if I was, I'd be all over these hunts.

I'm just a wanna be medallion finder
Fri, 06/23/2006 - 1:38 PM Permalink
Clue Master

Funny thing is that if you find one medallion you are officially a pro anyway since you were paid for finding it.
Fri, 06/23/2006 - 1:47 PM Permalink
KC0GRN

yeah.. still gotta find one first though.

Rosville didn't count.
Fri, 06/23/2006 - 2:08 PM Permalink
Clue Master

Don't worry KC - We'll award you the Oakdale one out of default.
Fri, 06/23/2006 - 2:10 PM Permalink

so I'm a pro?

wow...I've won $ playing poker....am I a pro?

Clue Master

Yup
Fri, 06/23/2006 - 2:17 PM Permalink
KC0GRN

lol I don't want a default win. I'd rather have a clear and concise win. So far that's elluded me.

grrrr I didn't go out to WBL cause I just couldn't imagine going out there again after all this time has past ---turns out it was found by a 16 yr old at 10:10 thismorning!!! same girl who has found it before :frown:

they didn't release the park. You have to drive up to Burnett to get the clue answers and where. I plan to do it sometime this week. Let me know if someone else grabs it so I don't waste my time. Otherwise I will get it soon.

Lumberjack Days - Stillwater

Clue Number 1

As you seek this treasure grand,

Nothing damage, we demand.

Look on only public land.

Soon the moneyÂ’s in your hand.

Jacks cut trees down by the ton,

As they labored in the sun.

Search for treasure, have some fun.

Hope that youÂ’re the lucky one.

HistÂ’ry lessons brought to mind

May assist your lucky find.

Some have even wept and pined,

If there team was way behind.
