I'll be happy to pull it round in our new truck if you like
We may have a new truck as soon as tomorrow night.
The boat didn't want to start right away, as the batteries were dead. The guy who owned it was a real brain-surgeon and bought car batteries for it instead of deep-cycle batteries. No, really. He is a neurosurgeon. So... guess what is on my shopping list. After we jumped it with a Jeep, it started right off, and idled down real quick. Better than I expected for a 1976! I am really impressed for basically buying it sight-unseen (eBay)... It has an electric winch, oar, spare tire, new batteries  , a trolling motor mount, a depth finder (old flicker style), 2 covers and a ratty old bimini top. Pretty good, as all I expected was a boat motor and trailer.
Overall happiness rating ... 9!
Fireworks seen over a lake are the best. I am going to my brothers this year, but maybe next year we can have a boat festival in the middle of a big lake... taking turns firing stuff off...

HAHA! :eyeroll:
I can't tell if he's smiling or not.
Oh, and check out that wax job.

All of us who were there way early were pissed but still enjoyed them anyway because after that first pause a bunch of people left thinking it was over and we got to slide over. Still not far enough.
Good show though.
It looked like they lit them off from where they do the New Years fireworks for Rice Park up on top.
It was a fun filled day except for a carload of drunk teens yelling at all of us on the Awada's patio saying we suck and wanted to fight all of us. Sheesh! :eyeroll:
I used to watch them from the top of SPC next door to you. Great view indeed.
I'm still debating if we should have stayed on top of my building in downtown Mpls to see all the shows and not be stuck looking at a tree instead. :eyeroll:
really cool when one is put in upside down....
geez....
It was over $3.00 for a 20 oz pop.
$5.00 for a corn dog- thank goodness we had corn on the cob and food back up the bluff! WOW!
the only thing cheap enough was the tatoos
$6 bucks!

:frown:  :eyeroll: :coolfrown: :frown:   :worried: :worried: :eyeroll:
theres something to say for lonliness and compassion- don't kick someone when their down...lend them your hand ...and sometimes an ear.
