cool :cool: I'm leaving now, we are in the isanti parade for the campground tonight, if the heat gets to ya and you want to go tubing just come up, we are usually on the river by noon though so if you do, come early :smile: we are site 115, go past the store, take a left, first camper on the left.
too bad it's not ours :eyeroll: They looked at ours last weekend and it sounds like it's an easier fix than they thought so maybe we will have ours running the next time you come out :grin:
The campground looks wonderful and the tubing looks great. I think we should do a "Cooler Campout"!! I love to camp and (calander permitting) I would definetly go. If we didn't I think I will still go.
The funny thing is we go camping 1-2 times a year. Either tent or My parent's camper. Hardly roughing it. My husband freaks about not being able to wash or bathe, hates using an outhouse, basically he's a germaphobe. One day he said that we should do BWCA at least once..... :confused: I said...."you realize that there are no bathrooms and in order to go you have to dig a hole a squat?" "Really?" He had know clue about what's all involved with camping up there. Needles to say... no go.
they have bathrooms up there. They're just cans out behind the campsite, no covering, morealess like those camp toilets. I believe they call em "slammers" cause the way you let people know you're done is you slam the lid on em.
we don't rough it by any means, we have a toilet, shower microwave, bed and satelite dish :sillygrin: we havn't roughed it for like 8 years now :pbpt: I was thinking about renting a campsite down by the river and pitching a tent just so andy could experience what camping really is, he would probably have a blast :smile:
