disney? Blah.. I think the only thing I'd find interesting there is finding the benchmarks (survey markers) that some benchmark hunters are so enamored with.
I heard Disney just raised their rates for the 2nd time this year. Also heard gas is gonna go up because of a broken pipeline in Alaska. They are shutting down Purdoe Bay. Better gas up now!
I heard the last gas hike was due to that tropical storm chris. For cryin out loud. Middle East issues, storms, equipment malfuntions... way too many problems with the oil supply.
was at that one back in 95... we drove there one day, from our gulf-front condo in Ft. Myers Beach that we were staying at...
It rained almost the whole 2 weeks we were down there, in FL... the day we hit Disney, the place was flooded... gotta picture someplace of me and a cousin sitting on chairs, in the middle of a flooded "road"...
that was hilarious... everybody there, that day got free mickey mouse rain ponchos - bright yellow ones...
we had a huge plan to "knock mickey over", just like you're supposed to do to anybody in an over-sized mascot suit.... but he wasnt in his lil picture house deal, when we went looking for him... :frown:
I think if/when I go again, I definately wanna hit MGM, instead...
gotta love that "its a small world" ride, though... :goofy:
ENJOY: finally being finished with filing my taxes... I'm lazy - and the deadline is the 18th, but I saw my tax lady today and she has everything, and I don't have to worry about it again until next year.
Sat... hubby's softball tournament, went to Como for picnic lunch/supper and then a walk with the dog, off the softball party on Birch lake, then checked out Little Canada Days and devoured some mini donuts.
Sun....Took the dog to the dog park and watched her frolic with glee while we hid a cache, went out to dinner and then a drive-in movie.
How was Little Canada Days? I just got my button for this year. Man I loved that place as a kid - the street dance was prolly my favorite. Very first place I ever did Karoake too.
gordon ramsay has a mouth that could make sailors and longshoremen blush. he's probably the most foul-mouthed chef on the planet. he's british, with a couple of L100 a head restaurants in london.
nice. doesn't surprise me. I've worked with several Chef's some of them nice (Julia Child's was wonderful) some of them corny - some of them total sleeze bags and a few with foul mouths.
I worked with a pastry chef one time (he was "visiting") that came into my office DEMANDING that I come count his order and some other stuff that was so not my job and it turned foul mouthed on his part. (One of my bosses - who wasn't fond of him either had walked in behind him mid-yell)
I told him he needed to turn around and walk out of that office right then, lest he like to find his trays of tuille logged somewhere.
I prolly wouldn't have done it, had I not known that my boss would have stood up for me, but I'll never forget his face when I told him that - he swore at me a few more times, and stormed out of the office.
My boss and I sat there and laughed for the longest time after.
I'm not that big of a Disney Fan (aside from Mr. Toad and Peter Pan, the original)
Peter Pan will always be my favorite ride. I went on just about every ride at Disneyland and always voted that as my favorite. I ended up going on it 7 or 8 times in one day. Another great part about both of those rides is that they have short lines. Cool!
The niece is all better now. We got to see her tonight try on her cute flower girl outfit. I think she's going to be ready, and she's going to steal all the attention from us!
No contributing to the problem. We don't want pictures of you looking cute in a flower girl dress. Don't want to ruin it for me or for Coco! Besides, what would your wife think?
finally getting all of the footage from my matches/commentary/announcing from stints with EHF, NIW, AXW, and MCW onto some VHS tapes...
I didnt realize I took part in so much crazy action, during my "career"...
also...
- Finally getting my "W" metal folding chair, and legendary D.W.O. vest back from somebody who was holding onto them for far too long
Now if only I can find my elbow pads...
yes, thats right... I'm making my long awaited return to action - on Nick-A-Palooza weekend... where I will put my 2 time, 2 time - Hardcore title (for which I am still undefeated....how can someone be a 2 time champion and yet be undefeated? long story) on the line, against an as-of-yet un-named challenger
speaking of Nick-A-Palooza...
also enjoy -
having 23 people already confirm that they will be there, to attend the very first year of the event  :ooh:
indeed. My first Tattoo is a picture of Tinkerbell from the original art of JM Barrie's book. She is flying though the air holding a crystal ball and a daisy chain.
I love that book. Oddly, I've only read it twice, but I can quote most of it.
I was a junior princess (I think it was called) in one of the Penny Arcade festivals in the 80's.
I don't remember much, I was really young. I do know, I got to wear a sparklie tiara, and a flouncy blue dress and white patton leather shoes, and I thought I was queen of the world from that float with my little figure 8 wave.
my favorites are Mr. Toad's Wild Ride (they replaced it with a really cool winnie the pooh ride), Splash Mountain (Brer Rabbit),Space Mountain & The Haunted Mansion.
honarable mentions: Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan, Toy Story (Buzz Lightyear), Aerosmiths Rock n' Roller Coaster.
The shows however are phenomenal- Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Lion King!!!
Things to NOT be missed when there are the Polynesian Luau and the pool at the Polynesian Hotel, the white sand pool at the Beach/Yacht Club Hotel - any "character breakfast", fireworks show at Epcot, the light show/water parade at bedtime and dinner IN the castle!
No it's a family vacation with her Uncle and Aunt, and 2 of her cousins and husbands and 2 kids and us. Kind of a group thing. Should be a blast. We have 4 fourwheelers, a pontoon, and a new boat to play on the lake with.
Besides the 3 bedrooms in the description, theres also an apt above the garage. Plenty of room for us all.
I seen you yesterday and wanted to walk up and say hi but you looked like you were busy testing the elasticity of your pants and didn't want to be bothered. Where did you go for the last few days anyway?
I heard the last gas hike was due to that tropical storm chris. For cryin out loud. Middle East issues, storms, equipment malfuntions... way too many problems with the oil supply.
Where's my hydrogen car dangit!
I'd prolly go if it was free, but I'm not that big of a Disney Fan (aside from Mr. Toad and Peter Pan, the original)
now, LA in general, Hollywood Blvd, the Viper Room, now THAT has a draw for me - 'adult' disneyland if you will. heh.

cooked in a tomatoe sauce with cheese.
mmmmm.

Im going to Mexico in December for a few days with my 'cult' girls - to go crown a 20-30 queen of Mexico! (no I'm not running)
Cervesa for everybody!!!
