Marilyn Monroe was an orphan, and during her infancy the Illuminati/CIA programmed her to be a Monarch slave. Before becoming an actress, while she was still a stripper, she spent time with the founder of the Church of Satan Anton LaVey.

oh god...I could make a movie...

talk about intertwined or coincidental to our conspiracy theories this week...

Treasure Hunters final code was initials and a 3 word name.

I love how they kept saying the KEY was in front of you and the Key would set you free.

I think I woulda been able to figure out the 5 letter word in less than the 10 hours it took them.

KITCH

I hate to say this...

but I figured it out..

as soon as I saw the MASON symbol on the cyptx

I thought about the three name thing

and when they said KEY it went off lightbulb in my head..

serious...I think all the talk of this triggered it.

I don't know much about 'masons' but I thought of the word MASON and wondered how the symbol could come into play and then KEY stood out way too much to not mean something- but we both know how tired and stressed we get when theres a chance that someone else is gonna figure it out before us so we over analize the clue!

I'm sorry I meant the freemasons

so mason was first guess

fskey was second

That was a great show and great ending. Not sure if I could have pulled it off faster than them or not.

I do know that I would have been running like a madman if I was one of those people going for the 100k.

I can't wait until the next season.

Have you heard that K102 is doing a "hunt" in the state fair on Friday Morning? It's called "Guess the Broken Code". Sounds kinda like a cross between Treasure Hunters and the Amazing Race. Listen to the morning show

I just missed getting us signed up, you need to be caller 22 and I was caller 20! "SHART!" :frown: I'll try until I can't try no more!

D'oh!

Whoohoo though, my favorite team won! That doesn't happen often. Too bad I didn't have a piece of metal though, looks like it was just a magnet under the correct location on that stone. Coulda found the treasure without even guessing the code. Crap, the cryptex was metal, that would've worked.

The online hunt in DC was a little lame.. basically the guy that got the key first just got everything else first too, so the only way to win is get the first challenge first. I guess hailing a taxi would've been cheating...

All in all, I'll watch the next one if they intend on doing it.

How were they picked anyway? Was it from each week or from figuring out the puzzle correctly? And what was considered the correct answer anyway?

And one more question, why wasn't I picked to play? :frown:

I'm guessing the correct answer was the Smithsonian Castle. Cool building on the mall, it started the Smithsonian Institute and all the musuems there. I guess it housed the Star Spangled Banner for a time. Plus that's where they started of their hunt. Of course that could be wrong, maybe they wanted the name of the fort where the star spangled banner inspired fskey to write the national anthem.. Either way, the end result probably just was to confuse the masses and leave you with no real answers, just questions to haunt you.

How people got that from the tripe they called clues I have no idea, just lucky guesses for the most part I think. Maybe a little historical research.

As for picking people, probably was by random drawing, or more fairly just the first 10 people to guess correctly along the road.

The one problem I had with it was, while the game was fairly complex and entertaining, the rules and how to win were pretty vague. In that respect, google's davinci code quest blew them out of the water.

Either way, you don't tend to win by skill, more just luck of the draw.

And they need a new announcer next time. Honestly that guy wasn't doing the job very well. Especially at the finale where he was very short with people, especially when the winners were brought in.
