I think I just found a new way to visually map the parks for the hunt. I'll go try and do one sometime this week and post the results.

you can load the gps tracking on there too. So imagine walking the paths at a local park, showing your trail, and taking photos at strategic points (like cherokee, walk along the trails at the bluff, take a photograph of what's visible every 500-1000 feet).

Cool I have done that I make a copy turn one to gray scale and cut out the part I want in color and past it on top of it's gray image.

the man in the photo is Seaman Knapp (born 1833).

I found a history book about him in our RCHS library and thought he looked like Camo Terry. I wonder if they are related.

The nose is several generations removed. Lots of genes added to the pool in over 100 years.

I think they look remarkably alike!

And I think the noses look similar too. :pbpt: :goofy:

I have two more trips to northern Wisconsin planned this year. It's my favorite time to be up there. Hope to get lucky and catch the cranberry harvest again this year.
