So guys - especially Dell Customers - don't execute or download such attachments. I usually preview the emails from the server using Mailwasher Pro or ePrompter then I delete the bad emails from the server and simply download the good emails. I didn't do this time because I'm in a testing mood. If you aren't a tester, don't do it.
Systems Affected: Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP
If you are NAV users, you can download the rapid release at Symantec's FTP page (ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/antivirus_definitions/n…) The said definitions contains all detections by Symantec including detection for the sample I sent to them today. Detection will be available too via LiveUpdate Daily (today) and weekly liveupdate (tomorrow - Oct. 11)
well i know that its a phishing email, silly. i was just wodnering how many other people would catch on to the fact that dell would seemingly be selling sony's.
the charge on your statement will be from name of our shop.
I disregarded it as soon as I seen the word 'the' was missing. Dead giveaway every time. Plus you would have thought they would have actually gave the name of the shop. :eyeroll:
I received something similar from what looked to be my PayPal account a while back. It said they were verifying a purchase I had recently made which I hadn't made. I reported it to PayPal.
we had something like this go around our corporate office, (Cause we order from Dell, and the emails went to the people in accounts payable who opened them)
big big mistake.. Although I was laughing cause you would think that corporate america would have better software for virus stuff
Having the 2nd opinion surgeon decide that I do need the operation on my shoulder. Schedualed for Nov 8th. I could have had it done 3 days from now, but I'm not ready. I'm just glad they didn't make me suffer with it the way it is now.
1) getting new tires ordered @ Costco.com to arrive next Sunday, and getting $60 bucks off on them + they are the next step up from what I'm taking off of there, and a really good deal.
2) getting to work tomorrow.. yes, that will put me @ 7 days straight, and yes, I do have to be here at like 7am..
but... I will pay for above mentioned tires in that 1 day of work cause of double time baby!!!

I've got annoying (to most of my office mates) music blaring, cause I'm the only one here. Surfing my favorite ghost cams, paying bills, drinking coffee (my boss came and helped me make a better pot)
soccer last night! I didn't cause any goals. however at one point someone yelled, Sunny! Go Deep Center! Deep Center! Which apparently meant run to the center of the goal area. What did I do? I ran to the center of the field. (that was as deep center as I could find!) oh well...
I did get called 'fast' and was told the being a forward was a good position for me. (who knew?)
I wanted to tell the girl who said it (who I don't know enough to kid with yet) Honey, I've been called fast many times in my life, but none have ever been in reference to my running abilities.
I think SCARED of getting trampled would have been a better term for my quickness. It seems like the women on the other teams we play, are all 6 feet tall and don't shave.
none the less we are 2 and 0 in a brand new harder division.
When I lived in China, and finally saw the Peking McDonald's, which is sort of kitty corner to Tiennamen square, I went nuts for a taste of home.
It was THE WORST burger I have EVER eaten. EVER. Turns out, because chinese cattle are RICE fed as opposed to Grain fed, what I'm used to, it completely changes the taste of the meat.
I don't know about "enjoy" and I probably shouldnt admit I'm doing this but, I'm actually watching that dancing with the stars - jerry springer was funny- poor guy can't dance
That interview at the end was a bit much for that show though. I felt like I was watching ET. But I couldn't turn away for some reason. Jerry sucked big time tonight. I thought it was his worst yet. He tried too hard to be funny. He's much better when he just goes with it and the funny just happens.
My GF's attny wouldn't let me order memorial brochures. (and they were a little spendy at the funeral home anyway)
So... I called my printer who does a bazillion things for me professionally, all my volunteer printing (free) and told him my problem and asked how much he charges for those services. (Figuring I'd cut out the funeral home middle man)
He is printing them, on a thick cream stock with his Navy photo on the front, a nice (simple and not to morose) verse I chose on the inside and all the other little info that you put on those things.
for.... FREE. yes, FREE - cause I do so much business with him, and I always refer anyone I know to him for their printing needs.
I'm telling you Taco Bell is where it's at...
(the food is good - cause the chef rocks, but all the mucky mucks show up and you have to smile and be nice and that's not me @ 7am)
I did get here in time for a cup of good coffee though
10 points to the first person who can tell me what's wrong with it

NEVERMIND
The zip file is likely a Trojan or Virus targeting PC users, common sense would indicate that Dell has not started selling Sony Laptops.

I've got annoying (to most of my office mates) music blaring, cause I'm the only one here. Surfing my favorite ghost cams, paying bills, drinking coffee (my boss came and helped me make a better pot)

I did come across a plate with the green M&M chick on it right after I ate all of the ones in my candy dish. Weird.
