I can also hear high frequency stuff coming off many of the machines here at work that bother me which most people either can't hear or are oblivious to.
<-- knows a few people who already have their ps3 preorders ready to sell.
the guy asking 5k for his will never in a million years get it. they're not in *that* much demand. although it would be nice for the few we've got left.
I would highly recommend the corn maze at Afton Apple Orchard! It was tons of fun...3 different phases of increasing difficulty...printed the $1 off coupons from their website. Hours of fun for $6!!!!! Plus did some geocaching at St Croix Bluff Regional Park........beautiful park!!! :ooh: :ooh:
thanks to nick and steve for coming out last night! now you know where your gonna be for new years eve! yup, they booked em at the end of the night  there will be one more before that, I'll let you know when.
Don't look like anybody bought it on the signing day. Penny and I made it down there. Kinda feel important now. First time I've ever attended a book signing
I meant from the CoolerCrew. I saw one lady buy 12 books she said she had reserved. Yea I heard the speech, and left shortly after they started serving the food.
That was weird. I just seen this lady hanging out on my dock here at work. (We let the Grand Hotel use our dock for deliveries and VIPs)
I'm not a fan of recent but I still thought it was pretty cool seeing someone of her stature.
By the time I flew down to my car to get my camera and come back all I could get was her entourage leaving the building for tonight's show down the road in the 'other' city.
My brother in law, suffered a stroke earlier this year. He has exhausted his health benefit coverage and retirement savings. He remains in rehab and every day the funds have come from their pockets. Their home needs extensive remodeling work to be made handicap accessible.

hmm - interesting article. I can't tell you how glad I am, that when the market was really really up, I was smart and didn't try to take a bunch of equity out of my house and owe on it.
It would really suck to owe more than the house is worth.
I'm a little worried now about when I sell my Grandparents house in Vallejo. I may just have to keep it for a while, esp since the property taxes are frozen from 1978 so $389 or so dollars a year.
I was smart and didn't try to take a bunch of equity out of my house and owe on it.
One could look at the opposite and say that they're glad they were able to draw on some equity that they needed that might not necessarily be there now
I met Jake for lunch today and we are thinking about putting on a fall Mock Hunt if there is enough interest. We are also wondering if people would be interested in doing a $10 registration fee similar to AW's to create a bigger prize. We are thinking about starting the hunt on or around Nov. 10 and having it end just prior to Thanksgiving. Please feel free to let us know your thoughts!
he called me at midnight the night before last - just to shoot the s#!^ and didn't mention a hunt - he did seem to be jonesin' for a hunt himself though
I'm not planning to go to this but thought I'd put it out there for anyone with nothing to do yet - I thought it was funny that drinks would be on the house if Birk scored --- the boy's NEVER had a touchdown!
However, a reminder of the Halloween Hoola
I wanna win scary movies - I look forward to the par-tae - see you this afternoon ...after I get done watching Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
FWIW Hoping to make it to the Halloween Hoopla - however Bob's family planned this fancy fundraiser benefit while I was in Vermont and the first one is today...our plan is however...
1 - 4 fundraiser benefit, 4:30 - 8 Halloween Hoopla, 9 - ? Invite poker at the rack..
good idea to whoever brought the white castle sliders and the hot cider.
Whitney said she would rather die than go...I drug her to it and all she could say the whole time we were walking the woods and trails was how cool this was and she was so glad she came .... :eyeroll: dang kids! mommy knows best--- geeesh! told her so  I had to drag her out of the park as hard as I drug her into the park!
