I'm very happy that this little girl survived this accident with only a bruise on her shoulder. She is the grand daughter of my wifes uncle Jack and Aunt Kathy who were also in the vehicle. Kathy has some neck injury and bruising also. Jack took most of damage and is in St Lukes hospital in Duluth with multiple injuries. Surprisingly there was no head trauma or chest damage done. Just broken up pretty badly. Penny and I were up there all weekend and she also was up there tuesday. Please pray for him.
3 people in the avalanche. It was a head on crash with a drunk driver. The drunk was in the wrong lane and Jack tried to swerve at the last minute. They crashed at about 50-60 mph. There were 2 people in the other car. The other cars driver is seriuosly injured about the same as Jack exept he also has chest injuries. The passenger in the other car is fine.
beat the $#!^ outa him and then find him against the following week and do it again
and then the following week and do it again!!!!!!!!!! a friend of mine died from being rear ended by a drunk driver about 2 years ago and I think all he got was a year! He left behind a 4 month old baby and wife!!!!
Heck, I've been no angel myself before, I couldn't live if I killed someone. I get those warm fuzzies when I see Cooler Crew drinking pop and being designated drivers. You samaritans ROCK and I never tell you- so you ROCK!
There is NO EXCUSE for being drunk and driving - even a few blocks! Most of the bastards say, "I was only going home" or "I only live 2 miles away"
Hopefully with how horific this accident is, that man got the wake-up call!
just got a faxed in order with the nicest handwriting I've seen in quite some time. Considering most times faxed orders look like chicken scratch, I was very impressed.
oh crud.. my week's filled up much too quickly. I got invited to a halloween party on friday evening, but now I got a bunch of after hours projects to do at work. Stuff that can't be done during normal business hours, gahhhhh... Thursday night I'm supposed to help a lady get her vcr hooked up (she's elderly, give her a break). Wednesday nights I help with a kids program.
How the heck am I supposed to stay after hours, install upgrades to the server, hook up comcast, set up a redundant connection with the DSL, and still manage to have a life? Mind you half the time I have a life I'm just spending it hooking up vcrs and fixing computers for people... bah I need an extra 24 hours during the week.
Ah.. got it.. I'll run home thursday evening, hook up the vcr for the lady, hopefully that won't take long, then I can head back to work, get started on all this crap I haveta do.
I soooooooooooooooooooo need a break. Not gonna happen soon though, too much to get done.
Who am I kidding? There's no way I'd be able to escape for a day, even if I tried, this place would fall apart. Otherwise, someone would find out I had a day off and ask me to help with something.
lol, don't mind me, I'll just get back to all this stuff I have. Wasting too much time thinking about how to complain that I have no time.
might.. the guy knows if I can't be replaced already. Unfortunately, he knows, like other people in my life, that I'm a complete pushover.
I think I need to break down and get an organizer, some kind of todo list. I hate the thought of it, but it'll be the only way I can keep from forgetting half the things I need to get done, not just workwise but everything else too. I've let too many people down lately just because of forgetting things or not having time to help or respond to them.
Good thing I'm single I guess, if I had a wife, she'da killed me by now.
Btw - if you want something done, hand it to a busy person. That is my therory. I get so much stuff done (although my house isn't clean) and I just keep adding more.
We moved to a new house on Halloween years ago. I sat at my sewing machine sewing a costume while everyone was moving stuff out to the truck. The sewing machine was the last thing to go out.
eh, think I'll just stick to yahoo.. I've had a callendar setup there for a while. Once upon a time I had it synced with my PDA.. probably start using that again.
One year two of my sons wanted to go as a mummy and a robot. I wrapped a role of gauze bandages all around the one and tin foil on the other. They came back home and didn't have any of their costumes left. They left gauze and tin foil all over the neighborhood. :goofy:
that's awesome OT. I wish you were here! I'd hire you to whip mine out. I offered the lady here at work who does amazing sewing $50 extra if she could 'pull a rabbit out of her hat' and make me the martini on by Saturday.
She said she'd love to, but no way with her work schedule..

actually should change it to an irritates. Update isn't going as well as I could hope. I swear if it screws up the database, I'm gonna be soooo ticked.
Honestly, it was running fine as is, why the president insists on an update is beyond me. Haven't even gotten to the network upgrade... blah.
Okay.. I've tried the installation 3 times, and all the times it failed the same way. Guess I should be thankful I was able to get the original back up and running. Yay! I get to call tech support tomorrow! Get treated like an idiot "Did you follow the instructions?" "Yes, to the letter..." "Are you sure, it doesn't look like you did" "Yes, I did, and stop reading your stupid script or I'll demand they replace you with a trained monkey"
Oh, not installing the new network either, I'd rather not be stuck with another problem popping up this late in the evening. They're dang lucky they can come in to work tomorrow and have things running like they were.
next to being a kid and getting a roll of pennies from the guy up the street from grandmas house and Mrs Bud (now gone) - she always had a tray of candy I got to pick from.
and the guy on the corner that always did the trick where he pulled the tip of his thumb off and the house that always gave us a can of pop and and and .....

That's crazy. Glad they all came out alive. Was it a head on collision? Was anybody else involved?

I'd go find that guy when he was sober and
beat the $#!^ outa him and then find him against the following week and do it again

No it wouldn't but I would bet that it would open some eyes to see the value that you bring.

but check this site to do lists they have tons of to-do lists..
and I think a few 'to don'ts' you can create an account and have them online, and emailed to you even.
:0) you can do it.
If you had a wife your current list would pale in comparison to the mega list you'd have then.

Dinner at Magnolias on Payne Ave. with a friend who's visiting from out of town.
I forgot how damn good their food is.... its been a while since I was there last.
Those who know would probably agree
It's so peacful around here when people aren't here to constantly bug me with questions and demands.
Honestly, it was running fine as is, why the president insists on an update is beyond me. Haven't even gotten to the network upgrade... blah.
I can't wait until KCV 11.2 Beta :ooh:
ILUKC - You so remind me of me years ago. Not that it's bad one bit.
I finally realized that I did it because I finally realized that 'IT' was for 'ME' - NOT for the corp.
You have no choice bub. URU - and that's more than OK. Deal with it. It's not that bad.
As long as you're true to yourself, UROK!
Period .
UC?

Good call. Sorry about that. :sheepish:
