not so much: staying up until 4 and then getting up at 7 to finish and coming into work @ 10.
I'm so friggin tired. But I should be out of here by noon. I got a couple of stops on my way home, then nappy poo for an hour before I have to get ready and go have fun.
my skirt has 8 yes, count them 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 crinolines under it to make it flounce. I friggin sewed 8 layers of that crap under my dress.
I also for the first time in my life @ 2:30 am put in a zipper. It came out quite well, if I do say so myself.
zippers are not easy to sew in-thats why they cost so much at places like Sew What.
I can only imagine that the skirt part of your dress is sticking straight out like a shirley Temple dress -- --- uuum, did they come with underwear? :sheepish:   :pbpt:
Having a five dollar coupon for the Hinkley Casino to cash in that we got as a rebate for our last trip (when we won over $600), since we were going to duluth anyways. Got my 5 spot, decided to put two bucks back in the machine. I was down to only 2 credits left out of the 2 bucks, so I got more change, just to play the max 3 coins. Hit $40. Decided to go a few more pulls. (we really had to go) and on the 3rd pull hit another $72. Decided to leave with $112 in less than 5 minutes.
Now we can go party at Dibbo's tonight! (open till 3:30am)
yes - it stuck out just like a little shirley temple dress... in real life it looked really cute. the photos make me look oddly wide and one dimensional (thanks to the cape)
no I didn't make the matching petticoat undewear.. I went a little more daring, and just wore some ruffled ones I had.
Thats what Denny's is gonna look like tomorrow night....
every year since 1998, we've had an annual tradition of - whenever everything is done going on, wherever the group is hanging out at, we all go to Denny's and eat with our costumes on.....
Its pretty fun... one year 4 of us did ICP paint, and ran into a group of 5 other clowns....
Even though I'm missing out on seemingly everything else as of lately, i'm making it a point to continue this tradition.....everyone thats ever participated, has never missed another one since.... seems like the group gets bigger every year.
I'm drawn to the unidentifiable silence of being of the first costume - is that YOU in the background to the left? It looks like you. Now that your famous...maybe he came as you
I get to leave here in a few, and go out the vineyard where the mexican guys have homemade beans, rice, salsa, chips you name it... and a deep fried pig... Carnita's heaven.
It's pouring cats and dogs, so we won't be playing soccer outside, but we will be partying down in the barn.
Having a very relaxing morning before work. Woke up a few hours early and took down 2 levels worth of Halloween decorations. Sent the wife off for the weekend. Sent the kid off to school with no issues. Slow drive to work listening to the new David Gilmour CD. Stopped off at a beautiful cemetery to have some breakfast with a great view. Traffic was great. Even on Crosstown and 35W! Bright sunny day.
Very nice for a change. I even gave the homeless guy a few bucks today.
Work is a different story :eyeroll: :eyeroll: but it does help one reflect on those relaxing times even moreso.
enjoy: having the house to myself until Tuesday. My roommate went to Pittsburg with his bros for the steelergame and to meet up with their dad who lives in Florida.
   party party party
mmmmmmmmmmmm sounds like the beginnings to a relaxing weekend ....
a long time ago I was talking to a friend on the phone from near there, telling him about this awesome view at night that I saw of both downtowns from that cemetery. it is spectacular and one of my favorite spots
glad you had a nice breakfast... mickey d's?
thats the cemetary where the legendary 13 graves are at...
that place looks cool at night with the gold lights
I think an uncle of my grandpa (who died before I was born) on my dads side is buried there as well
CM, you remember that small one that I was telling you guys about at Mounds Park, during the Wild Flag hunt?
The one where we were chased out by shadow people? That one is directly accross whatever highway that is....
theres a road that goes down through that tiny "Mendota" town.... its up off of that....
we were up there again on Halloween all super-late at night...
that one, Acacia and the one up off of Jackson, here on the east side, with the "Angel of Death" statue, i've had some bad stuff happen at all three...
speaking of cemetery's. when I was at my familys doing my grandfathers stuff - I snapped a photo of the stained glass angel that is in one of the little family tombs.
Maybe they were bumped from previous slots (due to a game going shorter than expected perhaps, or something cutting into normal broadcasting)? There seems to be times too where you get a commercial for some show that has already aired, or a sale that's already done.
sounds fun-
enjoy: getting my costume done.

I like that place better than the myth. Wasn't as crowded on the floor. Woulda been nice to have a seat though.
Missed last time due to a flood here at work though.
