I saw this at Linders yesterday and it's extremely COOL! you have to see it in person to really enjoy it. the ornaments dangle! I've never seen anything like it or ever thought to think outside the box and do it! I love it! It would be cool in a foyer ---more room for presents under the tree :wink:

anyone interested in getting together for new years eve? I know about Kelly&Gordys up north OR going to Throwbacks in Woodbury? Is downtown St Paul doing anything? I would love to just go to dinner and hit the movie theater- italian or mexican - my 2 favorites- Buca or Boca Chica - - I have gift cards to Buca to use up but Boca Chica (margaritas) is close to me- (Buca would probably mean a trip to MOA theater OR Boca Chica could mean a trip to Throwbacks or InverGrove theater)

I guess, just egram me or give me a call if you want to get together

There was one year we just went without a tree. At the time, my family had a larger gathering and we had enough presents to make the shape of a tree, so we just decorated that. Shoot, made cleanup alot easier :cool:

I've had xmas's without a tree. Too Lazy to put one up. Come to think of it.. I think I like it better.

I was just at Sams club, Maplewood, where they are only getting two PS3. There are two guys sitting there to claim those two units, apparently they are already on day 2. They both brought big lazy boy chairs!!

At Target this morning I saw ~6 - 8 folks sitting out there wait as well.

tc just called and told me there are about 100 people outside big buy in richfield waiting for midnight.

I used to sit in line 3-4 days for Saints tickets. Now that was a party!

That's what I'm thinkin, just go and have fun with it. Probably it's great right up until the time they open the doors....

I'm still wondering if anyone's planning on having thanksgiving outside the local walmart or whatnot waiting for the friday morning deals....
