somthing irking you? pissing you off? rant about it here.

aaaaah kc, there's nothing like shopping up til the last minute - the stress and high of not having enough money and did I miss anyone or will I have enough for my mom - nothings beats it!
I like to shop mid december. I usually know what I want to get everyone a month or so in advance, I just don't want the crap sitting at my house.
I am going to try to take advantage of doing some of my shopping in mexico though. I was in a fab department store when I went last time, and got some beautiful stuff.
wrong. I got plenty of money, and less people to buy for this year, it's plus plus. Only bad thing is time to get it done, as I work a lot of hours (which probably explains why I have plenty of money, no time to spend it).
Attorneys, Big Decisions, doing what you know deep down your grandma would have wanted, but unsure if I have the $$ to pull it off.
The attorneys want me to empty the house (cause it's sitting unoccupied and costing a fortune in insurance) and start getting the stuff in my grans will to the people it belongs to, and I guess setting aside the stuff that belonged to my granpa that goes to people in his will.
I really want to keep the house, and use it as a rental - I am prolly only looking at needing a loan for about 100k to keep it (which would include paying his portion out, and getting enough $ to fix it and make it into a rental)
That is what my gran would want. She would never want me to sell it. (the property takes are under $400 a year also, and that is grandfathered (or grandmothered in this case)
the burden is cleaning out the house and getting all the stuff straighted out. I'm pretty sure there are things - not of the human variety - living in that house.
I love the house, and although I never want to live there (its in the middle of vallejo) I don't really want to sell it. Not to mention the fact that I know my dad loved that place.
My gran bought it with her own money in 1937 for $7k. She cleaned houses and skrimped and saved to make all the payments herself - though 5 husbands. Then when she got sick, my step grandfather - started this legal battle with me, when he found out he didn't get the house saying he was entitled to part of it for keeping it up for so many years and the courts awarded him 25%. if it wasn't for that - this would be a no-brainer.
I think there's something enticing about a woman who's been married a bunch of times. You know that the 'death do you part' line in the vows is pretty much thrown out the window before you even get started.
early morning doctor/hospital check up with my dad this morning, on his heart condition - and finding out that, even though he's feeling pretty healthy, and looking/acting it again - his condition has seemingly worsened.....
having to be the one to tell other family members, yet again... because my dad is too unorganized, and doesnt even know what the hell is going on, when they tell him to his face.
I seriously dont want to do have this conversation with my sister....
Have no idea how I'm supposed to look forward to having a good time tonight at the musical we're going to see.....
I feel like curling up in a ball, and hiding in my bedroom, like I've done for a good portion of the past year and a half.
well there was the one that happened when she was really young - who got sick and died. (don't know his name)
then there was my (real) grandfather, who when she got fed up with him, got sick and died. (vance)
then there the one who was way way older than her (by like 30 something years) who helped her build the gas station biz and such that my gf left her, but then things weren't working out and he got sick and died. (jackson) *note this one is actually a shirt tail relative of husband # 5 we have recently learned)
then there was the one who had 2 young children who annoyed her. She didn't keep him long. I don't think he died when they were married either. Not sure though -oddly this is the one she has the most photos of. In most of the photos they look like they are having rager parties and it's the late 40's early 50's.
then there was the one I knew as my GF who she married in like 68. He's the one who outlived her and recently died.
Irritates: Trying to back up my home computer and it getting a total system shut down because of it. Now it won't even recognize anything even in DOS mode!
So much for fricken protecting my info when there isn't anything there to protect.
but on the brighter note, THX and Kitch don't have to worry about you having those naked pics of them anymore  -gotta get a new screen saver!
we went up to canada with the girls over thanksgiving, while we were up north with my grandparents, and it was actually easier to get back into the us than it was to get into canada.

With me, its more like "will I have enough noisey stuff for my mom?"
She enjoys having a big house, and having the house where the big family X-mas gathering is at....
she's always looking for christmas things that sing and/or make goofy noises.....
she was just telling me last weekend, when I accompanied her to a craft show, that her husband thinks she has enough stuff....
my response: "Nah.... that house is big, you need more stuff", and she goes "Thats what I said"
But I usually let other people do the serious shopping....
the past couple of years, I've been buying small, stupid, joke gifts for everybody on my list.....
they're usually a big kick, and it creates competition, because the following year, people try and out-do my funny stuff....
which never works...

I just don't know if I can swing it.

she did acquire a lot of land and assets in her time.
good woman.
There are groups out there to help too. Lots of groups for families who need help with respite care, and the good news- some are free!
Its not like they're not here emotionally...
they're there too... but not as much as I am...
I live in the same duplex/house with him, and see him all the time
on my dads side - its just him, me, my sister, and my uncle....
gotta cousin too, but we only see him once every 10 years or so.... he lives in Texas and/or Africa.... take your pick, lately...
pretty small, compared to my moms family...
I just dont know....
<sigh>
:frown: hug for nick :frown:
thanks guys
what the hell was I thinking?
also $215 + tip - hair cut/weave and full leg/bikini wax.
Part of me is wishing I would have gone a little more dramatic with my hair. *sigh* have to wait until I get it done before my trip there.
Oddly enough, with the new layers, my hair has suddenly decided to become curly again on its own. go figure.
IT'LL BE WORTH IT...THE BOYS LIKE THIS
GRRRRR
I'd like to hear more on that
:frown:
the only trans act on this card in the past 6 months! I use it only for online stuff & for travel. Was going to take it with me today.
They called me today to say that 818.94 had been charged today, and it was suspecious and did I do it?
ummm hell no I didn't do it!
so they are sending me an afiddavit etc. to fill out and canceled the card etc.
I can only hope that someone steals my CC info. They would be receiving an immediate call from Kitch asking for cash.
Ask Kitch = good thing!
Kitch Asks = bad thing...! :worried:
So much for fricken protecting my info when there isn't anything there to protect.

I think i fixed it...but i had to delete all my "saved" one...grrr
oh wait. don't look at the about box there
although I think it's at a friends house there. That is where I saw it last.
So now I have a jacked up credit card AND a lost drivers license.. hello identity theft!
we had to wait in traffic for over 2 hours to get over the boarder. But it was kinda fun, cause people walk by selling stuff.
last nights ECW PPV...
Bobby Lashley? UGH!!!
what are they thinking?!?
Why must they continue to make a joke out of the ECW brand?
WWE screwing Paul Heyman once again.
the man is one of the greatest minds in the business, and they have treated him like garbage, since day-one
I hope he has the chance to do something good now.
