Elvis stopped by to belt out a few of his famous Christmas tunes for the people downtown today.



He was in such a hurry to 'leave the building' that he turned out a bit blurry

Actually he's our engineering supervisor for the US Bank building (Pillsbury) so he wasn't able to go anywhere. :smile:

or he could have simply been a figment of my imagination. I was wondering why people were staring at me funny when singing along with his songs. :chagrin:

Here's a couple of shots of the MOA gingerbread house. You can actually eat the entire thing. And certin kids were doing exactly that. :eyeroll:

Nothing out here is that decorated. I need to figure out the night setting on my camera though and get some photos of Napa Valley at night during the holidays - all the wineries light up their driveways, and the little town of yountville is all done up for the festival of lights. really pretty - but they are all white. which kinda looks cold in a way.

Thanks. Unfortunately the Christmas spirits weren't flowing while waiting in line for 3 1/2 hours since there wasn't anyone old enough to tend the bar inside of Santa's workshop.

It was actually an enjoyable time nonetheless :smile:

3 1/2 hours? are you crazy? In that amount of time you could have FOUND a fat man with a beard and dressed him up and had 100 photos taken,

But you forget - THIS was the REAL Santa and all the others are just his helpers. Ask anyone. There's a reason why this guy pulls in 6 figures for only 15 days every year. I think he was second only to NYC's main Macy's Santa. He might even be #1 this year.

Here's my favorite shot of the night. We were the last to visit Santa. He closes his shop doors at 8:00 and we sat on his lap at 11:30. We actually got to see him walk off into the dark mall as we waited for our pictures. It was awesome. I kept looking up through the glass roof over all of the rides to see if he would fly by. :smile:

The Gingerbread House is adorable! Almost makes me want to go to the MOA! Well, almost. :neutral:

I just thought about what could be a conundrum. How does the news report the death of the MOA Santa if/when it happens? I'd most definitely attend the funeral if it was made public.

I went to my OB/gyn's wake. He knew me better than most men. :pbpt:
